The staff was amazing. The hotel was full because of the eclipse and the staff was so helpful and kind. The staff checked in to make sure everyone was good. My son even arrived at 1:00 am and the staff greeted him warmly. We had fun at the pool and playing ping pong. The breakfast was delicious. The room was dark because there wasn’t a window but a door to a small patio, but that was the only negative.

Liked the staff, room was clean, well stocked, hallways a bit dingy. Lighting was too dim for us. Other guests had a dog(s) that barked periodically. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was great for our eclipse viewing. We stayed in a King suite, which was good for our family, but the floor was buckled in several areas which is a trip hazard and should be fixed. I would probably paint the rooms a lighter color as there is only one window in the suite. The staff was great.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room good with some notable exceptions: the recliner was broken, the light in the bathroom askew, and the tub looks like a coal miner bathed in and didn’t bother to at least rinse it! Photos available upon request. Did not tell the staff, needed to leave early.

We stayed there the night before and after the eclipse. The from desk staff were great! Warm, welcoming, good advice about restaurants, despite being fully booked. The room was very clean before we got there and cleaned very well while we were there as well. Thank you!

I didn’t receive any VIP benefit. So I’m not sure what that is about. Please explain? The heating system was not working and kept turning off and on at all hours of the night. It would get so overly hot and then freezing cold. Took the reception forever to find my reservation too. Wouldn’t recommend. Better hotels in the area.

We love staying at the Best Western in Plattsburgh. We travel with our dog and it’s a great pet friendly place. Very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The pool area is lovely. Beds are comfortable. Close to shopping and a great buffet breakfast included. I look forward to the next time!

We have stayed hear before and always liked this hotel for a few reasons 1) Conveniently located close to the shopping areas 2) Nice indoor pool 3) Indoor access to the 99 restaurant. Unfortunately, this time our stay was not as pleasant. We had a room with 2 double beds, which were super uncomfortable. The furnace was also extremely loud at night. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. Also, there is no supervision at the pool and no staff present during swim hours - the pool was very busy with some guests engaging in dangerous behaviour and without staff, it was significantly less clean (chip crumbs etc by the pool). This will probably be our last stay here.

The room was very outdated. There was cracks in the walls in the bathroom and room. Shower curtain was all ripped. The room door has a gap. The remote to the TV didnt work well and was sticky. The beds were cozy!
