"Very nice hotel, great staff and amazing breakfast. I really recommend this hotel in Leucate, perfect location when visiting the Village Noël in Le Barcares."
"The place is an incredible ancient house, with a lovely “patio” and swimming pool, very well managed by the owners, a lovely couple who be always are in touch with you in order to your stay be unique. Very recommendable for couples: relax and a time to recover forces!
highly recommended!!!"
"I just enjoyed an incredible stay at Maison Gaia — the perfect harmony of luxury and affordability. From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel completely at ease. The serene spa provided the ultimate rejuvenation for both mind and body."
"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The house and garden were quirky and arty and in easy reach of everything. The meal with wine tasting was interesting and enjoyable, it was good to be able to sit outside to eat. The property was also easy to find and we could park nearby."
"Not easy to find but helped to locate by an English speaking friend of the proprietor on the telephone. Joined other guests and family for the evening meal in the lovely outdoor garden dining area. After helping ourselves to the continental breakfast provided we spent a lovely hour in the outdoor swimming pool before our departure."
"The hallways were worn and rather dirty, but the room and the lobby were very clean and pleasant. The pool was the best part—super clean and perfect temperature!"
"This is a wonderful adult only hotel. It is very big, has several great pools, entertainment, a bar, breakfast and dinner available. It’s in a great spot a short walk to the beach and many restaurants and discos. The staff is wonderful."
"The staff were so helpful from booking to departure. The room was well equipped with everything that you might need including a good coffee machine and kettle, dressing gowns and slippers, hairdryer and straightening tongs, the mini bar included soft drinks. I really enjoyed the stay here "
"The accommodation was fine. However, we were at the very end of the hotel so accessing the bar and restaurants was a lengthy walk. Breakfast was very good with a great variety of options.
Unfortunately, althought our starter at dinner was lovely, I chose cod which was dry, overcooked and full of bones. My husband, although he ordered a hamburger, got a very grizzly steak which was inedible. When we told the waiter, he didn't really care. Just shrugged and said fish have bones.

Résidence Odalys Le Lotus Blanc
6/10 Okay
"Three-star residence...
But there was no handsoap, no dish soap, no dishwasher detergent, no sponge, no bodywash, no shampoo, and the fridge isn't cold when you get there because it's not turned on. At least they had toilet paper but oh wait, you can't wash your hands.
The worst is that you can't just buy it all downstairs and have to drive somewhere else to get it. Would prefer to buy onsite or have all these wall mounted refillable containers.
The staff is nice, though the hours are very limited. I wish the check-in was a bit earlier around 3pm instead of 5pm, and the checkout was later 11am instead of 10am. You also need extra time to do the checkout chores, which you cannot complete unless you go and buy stuff off the property, and throw away the trash yourself across the street.
Unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on, for an upcoming festival so a lot of beach access and roads are blocked off and noise starting at 7am.
I mistakenly thought it was going to be similar to a three star hotel, it's just not the same.
If you have the correct expectations then it's located in walking distance from the beach - please fix the pedestrian gate in the parking lot, and has a nice restaurant/bar and a pool."
