The security of the hotel was excellent and friendly people, the hotel was very clean, i had a great time confortable bed.

The price was good. The location was decent. The hotel could use some work on the interior. The room was small but it was to be expected for the price and for being in Europe. For some reason, every night when we got back to the hotel our window was wide open. It was between 32 and 40 degrees during the days we were at the hotel. When we got back we would be looking forward to warmth after walking and touring all day but the room would be frigid because of the window being opened. The breakfast that was included was good - nothing fancy - but a great way to start the day.

I booked the room on 11 Jul for 18 Nov and requested lower floor due to weak knees. But was given the highest floor. The manager was very friendly and helpful, wanted to help but was fully booked, even the lowest floor, I still have to climb to 2nd floor. The building look old and tired and dark inside. I did not stay there as I really cannot climb the stairs, so we book another hotel. But the service there is good cos they are really helpful.

There was no lift. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bathroom needs refurbishment but was spacious enough and clean. Breakfast was ok , although I have expected an English breakfast served.

The rooms are small but clean. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately heating did not work which was a big minus.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me with my luggage up the stairs and provided me with some useful information about the city. Front desk gave me a bottle of water after mentioning how thirsty I was and then brought an umbrella up to my room since he knew I was heading out and it was raining. However, this property is old and run down. This layer of dust on baseboards, dirt on light switches, & mold in the shower. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and gave me back pain. There were very flat pillows that I used to fill in the mattress indentation. I had to rotate it my first night. The good part is that I got an amazing price on my room. You do pay for what you get!

The location is great, very central to London, within walking distance to Victoria station and the underground station just a few blocks away. Really this is the only reason to stay here. The hotel is old and dated and badly in need of some upgrades. There is no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage up several flights of narrow stairs. It was ok for myself as i tend to pack light, but anyone with heavy bags or mobility issues will have a difficult time. Everything is pretty shabby and worn down. The carpets looked ancient and dirty but for the most part everything else was clean. The bed was quite comfortable and clean towels were provided each day. Super thin walls so you will hear everything going on in the rooms next door or above you. It's tolerable but not that comfortable. I wouldn't stay here again. Okay only for a night or two if you're looking just for a bed to sleep in at best.

Firstly this hotel is in a great position, pretty close to the useful Pimlico station and it was £45 for the night including a basic breakfast. The previous hotel I stayed in for work was triple the price, twice as run down and had disgusting customer service. The St George is run down, a bit like Fawlty Towers and is currently being renovated but at that price you get more than you pay for.
