L'Orangeraie Hotel by Miléade

6/10 Okay

"The hotel and gardens are a perfect setting, close to all you want in Menton. Pool and spa was is a bonus as rare in Menton. Unfortunately our room 430 was not the best, it overlooked the railway and was very small, other rooms in the hotel looked more inviting and would give you a more relaxed stay. Our air conditioning was not working and temperatures were 39 degrees. Reception staff were friendly but could not accommodate us to another room. This did rather spoil our visit as we dreaded going back to our room. The access corridors could do with a refresher as they felt clinical. The other areas of the hotel were very good, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful and not packed even though the hotel was full."

"I had no plans in Sanremo, took a train from Cannes. I didn’t realize the hotel was far from the station so I had to take a taxi. Very nice property, I stayed in annex building in a single room. What stood out was the impeccable customer service and helpful staff. From bellmen to the check in and waitstaff. Extra amenities in room that many hotels as of late skimp on including dental kit, mouth wash and even an intamacy wash. Month of May in Italian Riviera is extremely sunny than expected so I didn’t spend time in pool but it was large and looked nice. The design is minimalist art deco. The breakfast is top notch! If I wasn’t gluten free I would have had all the pastries and tarts! But great gluten free options too + good quality yogurt and jams."

"Staff were amazing especially Beatrice Pierre at the reception . She was extremely great and actually helped us with everything , the tourist highlights and transportation Marriott Shuttle service helped significantly in getting around . Overall very good stay !!"
