"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! "I rarely write reviews, but I had to for my stay here at Hotel Royal Victoria, as it truly went above and beyond all of my expectations. I stayed here for almost a week in July 2025, as my wedding took place down the block, at Villa Monastero. The front desk and concierge were so helpful (Nipa and Marco) during my stay. They took care of all the things I couldn't do, such as providing a shuttle for my wedding, assisting my very handicap father, booking taxis back to Milan, reserving dinners, opening the bar past hours for my guests, and letting me use their steamer for my wedding dress and my husband's tuxedo. Everyone here is so kind and helpful. Breakfast with the view is exceptional as well. If I ever come back to Lake Como, I would absolutely stay here again."
"We loved the hotel, it was far enough from the hustle and bustle but still very walkable. The beaches are right outside the doors of the hotel, there was a bunch of restaurants outside the hotel doors as well. The rooftop lounge was wonderful and there is a car rental that was so much fun to drive around. It's like a Vespa meets a Fiat. We had a wonderful stay and would do it all over again!"
