The first room assigned was way in back and up numerous stairs and inclines. I am not a young man anymore. It was like a gym workout to get to my room. Internet was troublesome at times. Phone in room did not work. TV extremely limited. A/C in room went out took entire day to fix. Place could use a facelift. Spent a decent amount of my time there a bit frustrated.

Location is good . It is near the main street but rooms are not by the street . Like a bangarow in the garden. Swimming pools sre cozy but they have 2 pools for kids. Suit for long stayer. Staff are friendly. No any lift. Shoud walking from reception to room in the garden.It seems lttle bit difficult for old person.

Position between Karon and kata beaches good. Cultural gardens. Ditty sun loungers and mistresses with dirt and grime in them, tv not working and room not always serviced. They charge for pool towels and only have reception deposit boxes rather than safe in room Restricted breakfast choice.

Value for $$$ stay.
Overall, service was very good. Commendation to General Manager Mr Duke m frontcounter staff. They remembered my birthday. And i got a piece of cake, a big surprise. Also got upgrade Foc. Only problem was no Tv n wifi/internet was not working n intermittent respectively due to thunder storm b4 our chk in. Facilities under repair. KGR was centre between Kata n Karon beaches both 10mins walk. Garden surrounding was v good for morning exercise. Breakfast ok.

I would absolutely stay here again. The location is perfectly placed between the busy city streets and the less populated and just as beautiful beaches!!

Hidden Gem- Our new found favourite!
We had a wonderful stay at Kata Gardens. Despite having visited Phuket numerous times over the past 20 years we had never stayed at this hotel before. It was so quiet and peaceful with accommodation in individual cottages nestled within traditional gardens on a hillside - you would never know that you were in the Centre of Kata, within a stone's throw of all the shops, restaurant, and beach. The staff were smiling and helpful and cleaning staff went about their work quietly without shouting to each other from a distance as experienced in many hotels in the past. The manager was also particularly thoughtful and supportive when helping us deal with an issue unrelated to the hotel. Wifi was included free and was surprisingly good especially compared to other hotels that we have stayed in in the past. The gardens were so well maintained; they were a delight to walk through and the pool was secluded, was nicely set among the trees. Rooms were spacious, cheerfully and tastefully decorated; we had a lovely surprise when we discovered a second bedroom! The glass cubical showers were so clean that I had to touch the panel to see the glass! Buffet breakfasts were adequate especially considering value for money.Altogether the hotel was a wonderful experience; we will definitely be back.

Good hotel close to restaurants and beach.
First impression on busy road, restaurants, bars, music but rooms are chalet style set in lovely gardens with winding paths some with a distant sea view well back off the road. The staff, every one so polite and helpful. Good internet connection in reception and restaurant. Free safety box at reception, Free beach towels, beach mats and some sun umbrellas.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön in einen Garten gelegen, dadurch ist es sehr ruhig und man hört die Straße nicht. Das Personal, insbesondere die Roomboys waren sehr bemüht und stets freundlich. Ebenso die Nähe zu beiden Stränden, Karon und Kata, sind ideal. Was den Aufenthalt leider nicht so schön gestaltet hat, waren einige andere Punkte. Die Deluxe-Zimmer verdienen nicht wirklich diese Bezeichnung. Deluxe bedeutet in diesem Hotel lediglich 5qm mehr Fläche in den Zimmern. Es gibt keinen Safe in den Zimmern und die Sauberkeit läßt stark zu wünschen übrig, bei Einzug mußte die Toilette von "Resten" gereinigt werden. Bei einer Störung der Klimaanlage waren nur 3 Tage Wartezeit von Nöten, bis es behoben wurde. Das Frühstück ist als solches nicht zu benennen. Man halt die Wahl zwischen 2 Obstsorten, 1 Saftsorte, Müsli, Toastbrot oder einem Omelett. Es ist also mehr als überschaubar. Wir haben unser Frühstück in einem anderen Hotel eingenommen und waren beileibe nicht die Einzigen. Das übrige Personal, besonders am Frühstück und dem Restaurant, waren der englischen Sprache teilweise nicht mächtig, so das ständig ein Übersetzer von Nöten war, was teilweise das Bestellen sehr behindert hat. Schluß endlich sind wir auch da dann anderweitig ausgewichen. Meine Reisebegleiter und ich waren schon sehr oft in Thailand, besonders in der Region Kata. Daher kennen wir einige der ansässigen Hotels. Das Kata Garden Resort können wir aber leider nicht wirklich weiter empfehlen.

Kata Garden Resort har en fantastisk proff.betjening,alltid hjelpsomme og blide,god frokost og lunsj.Stedet ligger sentralt til holdt i thai stil,veldig sjarmerende og trivelig.Men rommene trenger en solid oppgradering. Musikken var veldig bra,men lydnivået var altfor høyt til for eksempel å innta middag,eller ta noe å drikke,noe vi kunne tenkt oss.Det ble bare en gang.

コスパ良いホテルです。
ネットサイトからの申し込みですが、チェックインを試みると予約が無いとのことで何度もカウンターで予約番号やメールの返信を見せて粘り強くカウンターに食い下がり50分程度待たされて不安な状態を味わいました。また、free parking有りだったのに路上駐車を強いられ混雑した場所も相まって不安が最大級になった事は残念でした。 やっと確認できてこれからクリーンナップするとの事でしたが、通された部屋は予約した部屋とは全く違い、寝れれば良いやっと言う感じでしたがとてもカビ臭くて寝ることも許されない感じでした。 その日のうちに部屋の変更をリクエストしたが明日以降と言うことで諦めて、翌日再度確認したが出来ない。と言うことでしたのでここでも粘り強く交渉し変更してもらったかたちです。4日間の滞在で、部屋周りの現場スタッフの対応はとても良いですがカウンタースタッフは英語もあまり理解せず一方的な対応が多く交渉力のある方でないとお勧めはしません。 まあ、細かい事を気にするならもっとグレードアップしたホテルを利用するべきですけどね。 コスパとしては良いので期待しすぎないと言う事ですね。

Fine place to stay to the price
The hotel has changed a lot over the years to the worse. The spa area is not being kept and looks abandoned. The pool area is ok but could use new madrasses and pavement. Some of the bungalos are being used as furniture disposal and also looks very abandoned. The staff is very kind. Breakfast is good and the garden is cozy. Close to the beach and shopping.

Die Hotel an sich und die Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Pool war zwar etwas klein aber absolut ausreichend. Frühstück war gut. Nicht gut war, dass der Safe nicht im Zimmer, sondern an der Rezeption und zu klein war. Laptop hatte darin keinen Platz. Das Hotel hatte wohl ein Problem mit der Wasserversorgung. Von Tag zu Tag wurde das Wasser schlechter, kam am Ende braun aus dem Wasserhahn/Dusche/WC. Am Abreisetag wurde sich aber wohl darum gekümmert, da dann das Wasser für 2 Stunden mal gesperrt war.

部屋は広く快適に過ごせる。 但し、部屋がコテージのようになっている為、坂道を登らないといけないので、高齢の人などは注意が必要。 スタッフは気さくで良い人達。 朝ごはんのビュッフェは品数が少ない。 セーフティボックスはフロントにあり、朝8:30〜じゃないと開けられないとのこと。朝早い時間帯に出かける人は要注意

Dear Valued Guest, Regarding your comment, I would like to thank you for your choosing to stay at Kata Garden Resort. And I would like to inform you that safety box 24 hours service. But in your case that you would like to keep a Laptop. That one bigger size than our safty box but we are accept to keep that in the hotel private safe box but the time to open is office time only. Because that safety box, only GM have the password to open. However I would like to thank you again for any comment. Familiferie Kata beach
Hadde et fint opphold selv om vi var uheldige med våre hotellrom.Prøv å få hotellrom ikke så langt opp fra resepsjonen. Vi ble liggende i et byggeprosjekt med mye støy. Rommene var rene og fine i størrelser. Kunne trengt ny aircondition som også støyet. Fin beliggenhet til Kata Beach og Karon Beach. Enkel men helt OK frokost.

Ruhiges Hotel mit schönem Garten. Leider direkt an der Straße. Man hatte kein Meerblick kann aber gut zu beiden Stränden laufen. Das Zimmer war okay, die Sauberkeit ließ aber deutlich nach, je länger wir dort waren.

Fantastic beautiful garden and area. Close to everything. Live music every night. Good breakfast. I liked it very much. But beware the bungalows are on a high hill, it’s good workout every time you go to your room.

Tropiskt hotell
Stället var gulligt men om man inte gillar trappor så ska man absolut inte ta in här för att man får gå i 5 minuter upp till rummet. Bra service och extremt trevlig personal . Dock behöver rummen rustats upp och målas som för det var i dåligt skick. Och Internet fungerar bara i receptionen.

Das zimmer war riesengross mit küche und balkon. Leider hat die Toilette einen Defekt und machte einen Riesen Lärm. Das Frühstück war zudem sehr bescheiden. Für ein paar Tage aber ok.

Ett hotell som säkert varit bättre för några år sen . Nu är i stortsett hela hotellet slitet och ej underhållet på senaste åren . Det känns smutsigt och små pooler som ej är brukbara och fulla med alger . Sen har dom en orkester som spelar fram till 24 på kvällarna som hörs in i rummen. Underbemanade med personal som inte viste va saker och ting fanns . Bilderna när man söker på hotellet stämmer ej . /besvikna

God beliggenhed, skuffende værelse.
Generelt var hotellet ikke i god stand. Der var hyggelige haver og en ok pool, men værelserne var meget slidte og rengøringen var slet ikke i tilfredsstillende. Der var mange myrer, en kakerlak og mange store revner til udenfor. Morgenmaden er ok, og hotellet har god beliggenhed, da det er i gåafstand fra både Karon og Kata beach samt mange gode restauranter.
