You get what you see here. It’s really a large property to be a hotel because it’s amongst the luxury villa of Phuket residents or holiday homes for many. You have more than enough storage space as you would have in a house. Spacious living room and dining room. 8 sets of cutlery and plates so you can still use them for a day without washing and as in serviced apartment they will wash for you at the same time of Housekeeping. Private pool is of good size and clean. Property itself is not brand new. Lots of previous usage and aged furniture. However everything is clean so no problem there. Water heater is a problem though. It’s either very hot or just cold. You have to guide the system yourself. Breakfast was decent but nothing to shout about. Staffs are trained to provide quality service. If you rent a car, you can park in your own driveway. There can be mosquitoes around due to the closeness to nature. Your backyard is a serene lagoon and lots of trees and grasses.

very nice resort but very far away from the main resort. While they have a shuttle service every 30 min, it is very inconvenient to go back and forward more than once a day. The breakfast was the worst we have had, with cold ala carte food served daily. While requesting for hot food, the breakfast was simply microwaved.

Totally recommended. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. It was fantastic. All the comforts of home. Modern and up to date. Fabulous swimming pool. Buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day. Plenty of food. Eggs your way. Salads. Pancakes. Waffles. Asian delicacies. The list goes on. The staff were all fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. Resort very clean and tidy. 24 hour security. Free shuttle buses to beach area. Quiet. A must stay.

This property is more appropriate for long stay. There is a pool but no beach front access. Check if your booking is in a villa or a hotel room in the main building. Location is isolated, which some may like, but you will need to take a car or the hotel shuttle to the beach to Angsana Hotel. The rooms are nice, but it is a 10-15 minute car ride to Laguna Phuket beach area/Villa Market/Boat Village shopping. Staff was really helpful and accommodating.

Not as nice as in the pictures!
We stayed in the 1bdrm suite, which is located in a standard 5-story tower overlooking the pool. It was NOTHING like the pictures (which are presumably of the villas). The room was spacious and comfortable, but felt dated. Location is not ideal—it’s in the middle of a very nice residential compound, but not near any shops/restaurants and far away from the beach (you have to take a shuttle everywhere). Overall, the hotel was OK—nothing bad, but definitely NOT the “luxury” resort from the pictures and description.

Only complain is Expedia confirmed we had a 20% discount on F&B, due to VIP+ status. However, this did not apply to room service, BBQ, or at sister resort. This was not explained at all.

Great Resort that I have to Visit TWICE!!!!
I have planned and booked for this Villa Resort from July 4th to 8th and I suppose we planned to have stay on airbnb from 8th to 11th. During our stay, the staffs are amazingly polite and the pool is very clean. Breakfast is not the best but it's good enough for us to enjoy every morning. We then head to the airbnb on the 8th but we had realized there are various problems where we requested for a change of property which was good. But the air conditioning system is not up to PAR so we slept for 1 night and decided to return back to Angsana which luckily we found it's still available online.As the staff were surprised to see us again as we explained what happened to us. P.S. For anyone who's planning to book airbnb in the future, don't get the pictures fooled you, ask and make sure everything you want/need is fully equipped. We didn't expect the property we rent where the living room has NO air conditioning. Our plan was to stay in the property full time but how can you manage to stay there indoors in Phuket without Air Conditioning? Anyways, if you come to phuket, I strong recommend to stay at Angsana Villa Resort where it's very nice and quite. Remember NOT the Laguana section as there are more people over at that area.

Staffs are very friendly, concerned and helpful.
From the time we arrived until we left, the resort did not fail to attend to our needs. The villa was perfect. Fang, the staff, was very friendly and taught us some Thai words. Top was very on top of everything on making sure that we get what we need. The kitchen manager was very accomodating on our request as well. I had an accident on Day 2 of our Phuket family trip, it made me feel better knowing that I can count on Angsana team.

nice apartment style hotel with huge rooms
We had a great stay at Angsana Villas. The apartments were huge and spacious, the staff were really friendly and accommodating, facilities great for our young family. It is however a little far away from the main tourist arra so options for food and nightlife is limited unless you want to travel out to Patong which is about a 30 minute taxi ride. Overall we had a good time and it was a really nice place to stay.

Nice pool villa and friendly staff
Overall a satisfying stay. What we liked: Vila pool, size of the villa, A/C efficiency, staff are polite and courteous even when stressed. Transportation if it does come, is often 5-10' early, once you know that you can factor it into your planning but it's inefficient from the resorts perspective and it can be stressful on the guests when you ask for a pick up at 0930 and they ring the door at 0915. The Laguna activities are well organised and the infrastructure (busses s boats) are in good order, the staff are always trying to please, good service levels by Thai standards. What we didn't like: Bus schedule and routings take time to understand. Once you figure it out, it's pretty efficient but Laguna is a huge resort, so it takes a bit of time. Dealing with the front desk: they called back with the requested information (restaurants, transportation etc), about every other time, so you have to follow up or you won't get your response. It's expensive. The mark up for food and services (such as drivers/activities) is expensive and the breakfast buffet is a bit bland after a week, but there is good variety and no extra charge for espresso or any other type of coffee. The kids club is limited in it's offerings and a lot of activities are to be paid extra, between 100-300 baht per activity/child, which again is a lot of money.

Pleasant experience
Booked a 2 bedroom villa on hotels.com for 4 days. Upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa via the hotel directly in the last 3 days due to more family members joining. Villa was spacious and is what is perceived from photos on hotels.com. Could be a little more tidy especially under coffee tables. Staff were very thoughtful and gave a delicious chocolate cake on the house after noting it was my birthday on my passport after i checked in and have left the lobby. Very accommodating too and provided inclusive breakfast for the 2 new family members who joined for the upgraded 3 bedroom villa. The upgrade did not include breakfast and should only still allow 4 inclusive breakfasts daily while staying at the 3 bedroom villa. However, this was not clearly stated due to my assumptions and not stated during the emails for upgrade Affiliated with Angsana beach resort and using the beach facilities was easy. Angsana villas felt more private and suited us more than the beach resort. Best of both worlds really Overall a pleasant experience

Great weekend escape
Don't make a mistake we did - Angsana Hotel and Angsana Villas is 2 different properties under the same brand. We stayed in Angsana Villas Resort Phuket, but it was not a villa, it was an apartment in 1 big building. At first we were upset as it is much further from the beach and Angsana hotel facilities, but after we saw the room we were very happy - it was a huge 2 floors apartment, clean and new, with big windows, shower and very quiet. The room service food wasn't good and it was over priced. In general we enjoyed our stay and were happy about our mistake. If you don't have a car it might be an issue to get around as there is nothing around!

Overall, seems to be very nice place but..
The problem I had/have is how the place is advertised on both Expedia and its own official site. Take extra special care when booking your room. Unlike every other holiday I've booked where rooms are styled in very much the same way, each room can be totally different. Before I go in to a sob story I have my hands up, this was my mistake which is why I paid the two night penalty having stayed at the resort for just under an hour. At first, and second, glance I made the fatal error of assuming a two bedroom, two story residence was the wonderful picture they have plastered everywhere. The classic Thai style duplex pool villa. As it turned out when we got there, they put us in an apartment block resembling that of a typical City break rather than a paradise island. There is not one external photo of this building on either site. The General Manager understood our concerns and kindly offered to move us to what we did see in the picture but due to the Chinese New Year it was very busy and it was their last room which smelt of heavy smoke. Indeed, this is not the hotel's fault and both rooms were very well equipped. My only gripe was that if we took that room, the people who had originally booked it would have been put in our previously allocated room. Just made me wonder if that was what happened to us. Its that kind of shady dealing that drove me away from the Financial Sector. Completely legal but borderline immoral, and designed for profit from honest hard working fol
