What an amazing Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food Devine and the views and pool in our pool villa were superb. The property does need a little maintenance in rooms but they are if the hugest standard in cleanliness so you can overlook this. We will definitely be back again.

Great views, spacious large rooms, great people and service. Minor things can be improved (like a shower in the bathroom to make it more functional) , but overall my family of 7 had a great stay here.

At check-in they said breakfast was part of our room. But later in the day said it was not and made us pay. It is also not clear that the hotel has NO restaurant. So while we didn't want to order the full breakfast (we usually want to do a simple a la carte of coffee and pastry) we had no other option. The customer service was pretty good with some minor issues. We requested a taxi and they forgot to call for it so we ended up waiting quite a while, we ordered breakfast to our room for a set time and it never arrived (they lost our breakfast paper so it had to be redone). We left the hotel before sunrise and there was no lighting near where the taxis pick up/entrance to the hotel, there was a step down I couldn’t see and nearly tripped. The view from the hotel was pretty and the pool was clean. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom could definitely use an upgrade. There is only a bath with a shower nozzle, no actual shower. This made it difficult to bathe as I had to hold the shower handle and constantly adjust the water temperature and power, it would fluctuate from extreme hot to warm and the water pressure would adjust from normal to extreme/painful. The hotel charged 1000 baht for a ride to the airport and they had a taxi they would call to take you to Patong for 350 when the shuttle wasn’t running. For a ride back from Patong taxis wanted 500 and tuk tuks 400, they complained about the drive up the steep hill.

Third time staying here. In fact we booked 3 nights and extended our stay for another 4 nights. Although out the way of shops, restaurants etc it is easy to book a cab through reception. We order room service for lunch and food always good. Staff very helpful, rooms spacious and clean. We like being out of the way. Kamala very close and Patong not too far either. Having your own pool is perfect. We really love it here. Highly recommend

Our third time staying here. We really like it. Our own little piece of tranquillity. Nicely hidden out the way but easily accesible to Kamala and Patong. Having a private pool with our room is perfect. Room service food is good and we usually dmbring our own cereal for breakfast.

A great place to get away from it all.
The hotel is comfortable and it was a delight to just relax and chill by your own individual pool. The food is nothing special but worth it is you are just looking to unwind without hassle. I enjoyed my Thai green curry and Tom Yum soup, as well as the delicious prawns. It was an ideal setting for a long weekend away from the hustle bustle of Shanghai. The 3 nights were perfect and the trip was topped of with a short shopping visit to Phuket town on our last day. We will return.

Amala Grand Bleu Resort Kammala Beach Phuket DO NOT STAY at this hotel. In addition to the staff ripping off tourists and fleecing them of their money the rooms are dangerous and it is difficult to get anyone to help you that can speak English. For example i had a nasty fall in the bathroom because the floor is smooth ceramic tiles and I ended up in hospital with little assistance from the staff because they couldn’t speak English. To add insult to injury we were then billed 3 times for the hotel room (for a 12-night stay) The 3rd amount was refunded to us eventually but we only got 50% of the 2nd amount due to a dispute about our booking . If you stay at this hotel DO NOT GIVE your credit card details under ANY circumstances! We have contacted both the Thailand and Australian authorities but they can do little to help us. If we could rate this hotel lower than 1 we would! Please be aware if you do decide to stay there.

I stayed in 2 different room types - partial seaview and grand seaview. Room size was good and both had a big pool. However, we felt the view for grand seaview room hardly differed from partial seaview. Also, the grand seaview room does not come with a shower stall. It only has a bathtub that comes with a handheld shower head with a very short hose. I had to squat/kneel in the bathtub when showering. Food quality needs major improvement. Resort provided a free shuttle to Jungceylon at regular intervals, which is much appreciated. Smart TV in the rooms comes with Netflix. For a 3 star property, i would say it has tried its best in terms of service. But standard things like lacking a proper shower facility should not have been looked over.

We stayed here again at the end of our trip as we eenjoyed it at the start of our trip. The only downside was that the TV was terrible. Terrible signal and no Netflix loke in our first room.

Worth a stay !!!!
Our stay was excellent. Just 10 min on bike from hotel too Patong beach. Pool was superb. Room was clean Staaf was very friendly and helpful. View was considerably good. Not much of amenities but that was not we were looking for at all. Overall the stay was wonderful

The room the clealiness is all perfect. I love everything about the room just one thing maybe the reception staff need to do improvement. For check in staff average but for the lady that check us out for me not friendly at all. I saw a lady still do the check in and fill up the form. So i approach the counter and she Don’t even bother to ask me. I am so disappointed on that. I paid the rate also. When come to check in i don’t even have any welcomed drinks. Instead need to wait for 1 hour at the lobby with no offered to have a drinks. About the room all good the condition the view the cleanliness i love it! Need to do some improvement about the staff.

The condition of the suit is good. Just that there is a strong smell if paint. I reckon they have just repainted the suites. Other than that the services provided was great and they also provide motor bike rental.

Pros- 1) Wifi is good 2) Room size is great Cons- 1) suitable for traveler who are driving as resort are up on the hill 2) room looks exactly what shown on the website, but they need to improve on their housekeeping and also maintenance of the room as there are ants on table and kitchen area. Ceiling are covered with watermarks and corners of the room are not well-kept. 3) staff should be more attentive, my husband has request for a cake to sent to our room for my birthday but they did not turn up. Seems that they have forget about it.

It is a good hotel bit away from patong beach they charge too much for taxi either to patong or to airport bathroom need to improve when shower water is every where sink leaks ac in the room leaks. Staff not that helpful you can can better hotels around that area. Will not stay again

There were a few issues when we first checked in. Aircon was leaking. Even after the maintenance came to rectify the issue, it continued to leak again and there was no maintenance at night. With the exception of the receptionist and duty manager, there does not seem to be any maintenance or housekeeping at night. There were also other issues which I am glad to say was rectified by someone called Pawan. I think he may be the manager. He dealt with the issues professionally and efficiently. Other than that, the stay was fantastic. We stayed in the oceanview room. There was a huge swimming pool, dining area, living area and bedroom. It is definitely not 5 star but it is value for money. Housekeeping staff were friendly and the drivers for the shuttle service was also friendly. Reception staff not exactly friendly. There was only 1 reception staff who stood out, Natda. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Really helped make our stay wonderful. By the way, they don't replenish your toothbrush so its a good idea to bring your own toothpaste and brush when you stay here. They have free shuttle to patong, which is a good thing as travelling in phuket is expensive.

We extended for one night. So the same review again :) Simply amazing room with great private pool. Room is spacious with functional kitchen, big screen tv and a bathtub. Bed is soft and very comfortable. Even there is nothing in walkable distance the room provided everything for us, so we did not even needed to go out :) The free shuttle service from hotel to Patong beach is convinient if you want to go shopping or on the beach. Maybe the shuttle last return to the hotel could be a few hours later than 16:30. Overall on of the best rooms we have been in Thailand.

Very nice rooms with private pool. Was disappointed that my room wasn't on the top floor as I paid for a full sea view and felt mine was a partial. Did tell reception to be told this was also a full sea view when it wasn't and upstairs was fully booked. Not happy on that part as they should have made sure I had a room on top floor as that's what I paid for. But sayin that... I was more than happy with the room itself. Very big, separate lounge to watch tv, good size private pool, ok view of the sea on my part, friendly staff. Was one of the best places I have stayed in phuket and I have been coming for the last 7 years. Good price for the room. A tv in the bedroom would have been a nice touch. But was more then happy here and didn't want to leave!! Stayed for 2 nights but will stay for more next time for sure.

Stayed at this hotel for only 3 nights and wish it was longer.Its a quiet place and is the only place I have ever stayed where there is a small infinity pool outside your bedroom door just for yourselves.Price was excellent value for money.Its up a steep hill so helps if you have transport(don't know if they had a shuttle bus).We hired a car so no issues for myself. Breakfast cost 300 bahts each-and was very good-served in your room. Its about 2 miles outside Patong,so ideal for calmness. Staff very friendly and helpful-could not fault my stay. Very pleased.

Perfect Villa a bit far from the action
We stayed in a lower room the first three nights and it was perfect. The room was huge and immaculate! The pool was private with a gorgeous view! The last three nights we stayed in an upper room. Better view yet no shower. Only a small bath tub. Fortunately my gal was very helpful. I found it odd that such a glorious hotel would have a giant bathroom with no shower.
