She left us with a "starter kit" in the fridge. The area was great for us to get around. Downtown Cave Creek was cute. Getting to Sedona, golf in Phoenix and Scottsdale, and shopping were all easy. The only improvement I would make would be to have better internet service. We needed to use "hot spots" on our cell phones, in order to use it at all. Cell coverage was iffy at times too. Normally, I wouldn't have cared as much about those things, but, lucky us, we were there during some horrible weather and we spent more time inside than we planned. ##### Kathryn P. You can walk out the back of the house and access several different feeder trails to some nice hikes, including the go john trail in cave Creek regional Park. Joanne and Steve are just wonderful. every time we come back we feel like we are coming back to old friends. The house has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay and is spotless. The location is less than 15 minutes to restaurants and shops in Cave Creek and Anthem yet far enough away to give total privacy. Having the pool and hot tub was wonderful. We were able to use the BBQ and outdoor patio area as well. We also had a lovely patio in the back of our casita where we were able to enjoy sitting out having our morning coffee or a meal in the evening. This private house has everything and was a wonderful home for taking Day trips in Phoenix area. Loved the quiet desert setting near I -17 and Cave Creek. Our hosts were very welcoming and even had food and drinks waiting for us. We had our privacy but they were always ready to answer questions and make good suggestions to make our stay very entertaining.
