Dino at check in was Great

Posted 16-Feb-2017
Pros: Clean and nice. A bite pricey, but that was the price of hotels in the area and time we were there.
Location: Lots of places to eat and entertainment.
Dino at check in was great. He was very friendly and help us get reservations at Don & Charlie's. Great place to eat. Room was very nice.

Nice hotel

Posted 03-Feb-2017
The one negative about this hotel is that it is right on Camelback in the entertainment area so there was a lot of music in the night. We were in the very front room over looking the street. The breakfast was excellent and they use real cutlery and plates which is a big plus for me. You could actually have walked to downtown Scottsdale if you need a shopping fix.

Good location

Posted 02-Feb-2017
Staff was friendly upon arrival and informative throughout stay. On check out, front desk staff was in phone and didn't ask us if we were satisfied with stay. We were satisfied with the hotel and room. Typical best western. Negative: hot tub didn't work entire stay, construction noise during stay. Positive: close walking distance to most things

Nice facility but problems hurt overall experience

Posted 24-Jan-2017
Pros: The facility itself is nice, breakfast is good
Cons: Improve parking situation, improve response by maintenance to fix problems
Location: Near old town Scottsdale with many restaurants, things to do
Upon check in we discovered that the spa bathtub was in the middle of the room, no privacy. We asked if they had a room with a conventional bath tub and were told all rooms were this way. After checking in we discovered that several of the TV channels had no sound. Reported this to the front desk and were told that maintenance would fix it in the morning. It remained this way until the morning of our check out 4 days later. Getting into the parking lot required us to get out of the car and move portable barriers that had been placed every night to keep non-guests out of the lot. With rain falling every day, this was not convenient.

Close to Fashion Square mall

Posted 24-Jan-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: to much to list
We were told because we booked with Expedia we had to take the handicap room, wide open shower, no tub, had to put towels down to keep the water from leaking into the foyer, the floors were hard and cold, wall mounted HVAC was loud and leaked condensation, should I continue? door was drafty, loud music from the club across the street, one front staff member was lazy and rude, the rest were VERY nice though. Coffee was good and breakfast was decent.

nice close to West World

Posted 23-Jan-2017
Pros: Clean and good breakfast friendly people
Cons: stock personal items tooth brush, deodorant, etc
Location: very convenient to attractions
I enjoyed staying at your hotel. found it to be clean and provided a good breakfast. the only bad comment is that you do not have a convenience store to purchase deodorant, tooth paste, brush, etc. It would be helpful to at least have these personal items available in the event that it is needed by someone staying at the hotel.

Noisy hotel

Posted 19-Jan-2017
First night, loud drag racing on street by our room. Next night, horn honking and shouting near by. Given a handicapped room (although neither of us needed it). Shower had no curtain, used all our towels to mop up floor after shower.

Nice hotel close to Entertainment District

Posted 14-Jan-2017
Pros: Reasonably priced and the location was ideal for my travel plans. Centrally located in Phoenix.
Cons: MY only improvement suggestion is the comfort of the bedding, especially the sheets.
Location: Hiking on camelback mountain, Fashion Square Mall, Old Town Scottsdale, and several sports bars with some dance clubs also.
I chose this hotel since it was near the entertainment district in Scottsdale. The hotel was great for my needs and would stay again. I spent most of my time going to the nearby sports bars as well as visiting the nearby Fashion Square mall and hiked Camelback Mountain that is located 10-15 mins away by car.
