We have spent much time in the area but have never stayed in a home like this one - plenty of room for 3-4 couples. Great quiet location with a beautiful breathtaking views. Wildlife is abundant. The pool (with the summer heat we spent a lot of time in the pool) and home are stunning and everything we needed for restful evenings after busy days. Would rebook in a second!! The home is close to shopping and restaurants and a short drive to Scottsdale, with great golf and hiking nearby. Easy trip and distance to Phoenix airport. We even took in a day trip to Sedona. The views from the backyard/pool area are stunning and mostly private. The one item which was not clear to us about the property description is the detached 4th bed room/3rd bathroom. You need to exit the main house to access this separate suite which included the 4th bedroom, 3rd bathroom - there's no interior access. That's not ideal for a family and went unused. The house was very clean, spacious, had all the necessary towels, kitchen supplies, etc for a week's stay. The pool was great! Wifi was great for working remotely. The pool area was exactly what we wanted. It is quiet and mostly secluded. The hot tub controls were not accessable, but we okay with that. The house was large (three bedroom) and a huge living room. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We can't wait to go back! This house exceeded my expectations! Getting in took a phone call to mgmnt because there is an iron gate out front which was locked. I didn't know that you could walk from the driveway to the front door to bypass the gate. Mgmnt picked up the phone at 10:15 pm. I was very surprised and thankful. Very good service! ##### Gary L. This house was so comfortable for us, with a nice living room to gather in, a kitchen with the basics for cooking, a grill and gas table on the patio. It’s such a quiet neighborhood (you could sometimes hear karaoke from the bars, but distantly, at night - it sounded festive!). The beds were all very comfortable. We liked Cave Creek very much, and the house is very close to some great trails (highly recommend Spur Cross) and a desert center “park” and walkable in the day to shops/dining/bars/coffee (note it is very dark in that area at night!). A key for us was that we did work with the Vacasa property manager in advance to heat the spa (hot tub but no jets). Loved that hot water after hiking! The pool was available to heat but we did not choose that - the patio does face north so the sunshine during our time there was limited. Also note that the 4th bedroom and 3rd bath is indeed separate, with a little sitting room - great if you have older kids or someone with a significant other! We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the dessert, whether staying in or returning to East Horizon Sanctuary after our day’s travels. It was a perfect base from which to head North to the Grand Canyon, South to Tucson and everywhere in between. The home was impressive and in a quiet area of Cave Creek and convenient to all that we required, with numerous options for groceries and restaurants as near as a one minute drive. The fit and finish of the home and soft goods was top notch, with everything necessary to make for a comfortable stay. We were glad to have brought our own music set up (Alexa Echo) as we prefer some tunes while enjoying the views. That was the only item missing from our perspective. This is our third decade of home and villa rentals around the globe, which is our personal preference over a resort, and we both agreed that it was one of the best homes that we have enjoyed. It is obvious that the owner’s have set this up with a consideration for their guests, and it being our first time working with VACASA, and found the process very simple with timely and ample communication, including the “heads up” when a contractor was coming to the home. Our only regret was that we did not opt to heat the pool, thinking that the daytime temps would carry forward so if we return in the winter or spring that will be a must.
