Nice hotel in downtown Philly

Pros: Location, clean rooms and facilities, lemon water in the lobby
Cons: There was not a fridge or microwave, something I typically expect in a hotel nowadays.
Location: Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby!
No complaints! Every thing was just as it should be!

Bad Sherton

Pros: Convenient to city center.
Cons: Replace carpeting and CLEAN and disinfect the place; train staff to actually ANSWER the phone; train maids to actually CLEAN the rooms.
Location: Reading market and tour buses nearby. Lots of homeless sleeping in the pass through tunnels of the convention center that you must walk through.
Advertised on Expedia as $155; bill totaled $180 a night; Expedia gave me back some money -- that was good. Then, when I got home, I found a charge by the hotel totaling $166.32, which I had NOT authorized; I'm dealing with my credit card company on that as fraud since the hotel said they didn't show that charge (I figured someone at the desk helped themselves to my money in the name of their company.) The room was dirty from the start; found zip ties on the carpet which told me the carpet was not vacuumed, plus lots of other debris, and there was a dark substance that appeared to be gum ground into the carpeting. The maid never showed up. When we called the desk, most times they didn't answer. My husband had to go down to the desk and "look them in the eyes" since they wouldn't answer the phone. When he complained about no maid service, the maid showed up our second evening and lied, telling us that we put out our "green environment" card asking for no maid service (in truth, we had put out "do not disturb" sign for the morning and brought it back into our room around noon when we left our room, assuming the maid would make up our room that afternoon, which never happened.) The maid came that one evening we complained, and STILL did not vacuum the carpeting. Oh, and we saw a huge cockroach outside their adjoining restaurant which made be presume he'd had his dinner and left for the night. I cannot believe that Sheraton would soil their name by owning this hotel.

Staff at front deal were very nice!

Within walking distance to reading market. And other areas. Staff at the front desk were great and very nice ! Would set stay the again! Room was clean. Cleaning staff were very nice as well.

Clean amd comfortable.

I would definitely go back. Nothing fancy just clean and comfortable. Nice bar/restaurant in hotel. Don was very nice helpful bartender. Staff was very helpful and accommodated my late check out. Than you.

Rooms are equipped with the best

The room was equipped with the latest technologies and beautiful LG flat screen TV. The TV was easy to use as opposed to the Sheraton downtown which I didn't know that you can watch regular TV and not have to pay for it till the end of the 2nd day staying there.

Good downtown location, but no parking.

Pros: Nice and clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Add a parking lot.
Location: Fairly close to the city center, within walking distance of several restaurants.
I stayed here during a business trip, and I needed a car to get me to the location where we were installing new equipment on transit busses. I used the lot across the street, but the parking costs there were outrageous.

Great location

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Offering coffee.
Location: Chinatown. Authentic Chinese food.
we stayed here for one night. The hotel is in Chinatown. If you plan to explore Chinatown, this is a perfect hotel.
