Good location, excellent room, "iffy" public space
A welcoming reception started our visit off right, but then the elevator door opened on a dilapidated elevator lounge with soiled carpeting, causing us concern. Not to worry: the room itself was excellent: clean, comfortable, with a good, well-appointed bathroom. We would certainly stay here again.
The attached bar/restaurant, Cherry Lounge, is not one of the hotel's strong points. Fortunately, the Four Points is only a block from the Reading Terminal Market and nearby fast casual restaurants for breakfast or lunch (the Market closes at 6 PM). For dinner choices, the hotel is on the border of a dynamic Chinatown, but for other cuisine you need to travel some distance.
There are a couple of inexpensive parking lots nearby offering overnight parking (we paid $25 for 1-1/2 days).

Thank you for staying here at Four Points by Sheraton Philadelphia City Center. I regret that the carpet at lounge was in questionable condition, this will be called to the attention of our team to avoid this inconvenience moving forward. We appreciate your time i letting us know. We hope to see you again. Kind regards.
