I planned a family road trip with my son and 85-year-old mom to visit family in Philadelphia. I booked a two-room suite with two king beds as advertised and my son was excited for the pool. To our surprise, the hotel was under construction. There was a whole area blocked off with yellow caution tape, plastic sheets hanging from floors above, about 6 to 7 workers in hard hats painting, spackling, sanding, etc.—dust everywhere! Our room was in the construction zone. The ramp to get to our room was blocked by the tape so two of the workers offered to lift the luggage rack up the stairs. We got to our room and the dust was unbearable. I went to the front desk to change our room. Marco stated there were none available and I said I will not have my child and 85-year-old mother staying in these conditions. We were moved to another room on another floor--again, in the construction zone. I complained and we got a different standard room on another floor not in the zone. Our new room #505 was filthy (I took pictures of the broken air/heating vent with caked dust balls). Oh, and the pool was closed for repairs. While checking out, another family was complaining about their stay too! Apparently, they were moved twice because of a broken bathroom door and non-working TVs—the woman was livid and questioning her bill. It seems Marco promised them 50% off their room for the trouble. I wasn't offered anything. I will never stay at this location again!
