Little oasis
This resort is perfect for people looking to have a little oasis getaway. We stayed in a Palm Villa and it was worth the upgrade. Very clean, great amenities, breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and staff were over the top friendly. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is not overcrowded and has tons of little restaurants. The pool area is small but beautiful and the resort is walking distance to shops and restaurants on main drag. Our only not so great experience was the food at their on site at their little restaurant (outside of breakfast). We tried a few times and just not good. But again you are so close to so many great restaurants this would not impact returning. Thank you to the staff for a great 10 day stay!

Had a great stay here. Villas are very nice and clean, staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was pretty good, with a range of foods available. Overall very pleasant stay was nice seeing the Forrest from our balcony and the occasional lizard crossing the grounds

Love this hotel! It’s quiet and serene here. Staff is lovely every day, rooms are spacious and so clean. Love that the beach is so near and if you’d like to go to the shops and restaurants it’s only a 15 minute walk.

We loved our stay here. Breakfast was great. Beach 2 minutes walk. Khao Lak centre 5 minutes. Certain aspects, the Pool and Bathroom, could use a bit of TLC, and the beer fridge, temperature definitely need looking at because if your going to sell a small Chang for £2.15 in 30+c heat it has to be very chilled. So I'm very happy we stayed here and the above isn't a problem, except the beer 😁

Overall very nice, but a few design issues
Nice hotel in a good location. My only criticism is the pool area and the need to go via the restaurant to access the accommodation. The pool only has vertical ladders to enter/exit it. Guests who less agile cannot easily enter/exit the pool. Roman steps in one area of the pool would easily resolve this issue. Access to the accommodation from the reception area is via the open plan restaurant, which means that all luggage has to go via the same route. It reminds me somewhat of hotels in Vegas where you have to go via the casino with your cases to get to the rooms.

lovely resort and staff staff very helpful and friendly with smiles all round, short walk to the shops on the main road and a small set of shops across the street.Beach is across the road with a few restaraunts one in particular called coconuts right on the beach not much to look at but the food is amazing and happy hour 3-7 staff friendly must try it,the rooms at the leaf are big and cozy with big verandahs would recommend to friends

Cannot fault hotel but some staff not helpful. Barman too busy on phone to serve and receptionist grumpy. Don't let it put you off as hotel was v good and I got it at a bargain price of 900bhat/ night low season

Great little hotel
We were travelling as a couple, stayed in this hotel for 9 nights and had a really nice time there. The service from all the staff was outstanding, but in particular the restaurant team and the ladies who cleaned our room.

On arrival our room was full of mosquitos and we discovered they were getting in through large gaps in window frames. We plugged the gaps with lots of toilet paper which helped. There was no fumigating for our whole stay and we could not spend time on the balcony without being bitten by loads of mosquitoes despite using repellents

The Friendly Leaf
The Leaf Oceanside Pools and Grounds are really well kept .The Location is convenient to Restaurants , Bars and Supermarkets . Breakfast is good value . Staff here are really efficient and pleasant . We would love to return to Khao Lak and the Leaf again .

nice comfortable hotel
Nice hotel very hard to see the difference in rooms so was unsure if we got what we paid for (cottage room ) as they all looked the same from the outside. Could do with blackout drapes, bedside drawers and a clock. Beds were firm but comfortable. Bathroom nice and clean. Staff were generally polite but at times were a bit disinterested.
