Our family group consisted of 6 adults and 2 teenagers. The space in the house worked well for us. Everyone had a bedroom and the public spaces were big enough that when we were all together we had plenty of room. Having two kitchens was an added bonus, and the kayaks and paddle board were used and enjoyed. There was an abundant supply of all the little things you're not sure will be there in a vacation rental (towels, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.) And the deck was a great place to gather and enjoy the view of the lake.
A couple of niggles made it a 4-star rather than 5-star rating: The hot water supply and water pressure, at least in the master bedroom, were low; the system to control the lights in the public spaces is complicated and took us several days to figure out (and we have a couple of "techies" in the family); we, literally, could not get water to boil on the gas burners of the stove in the main kitchen (never really figured that one out).
We were fortunate to be able to meet the owners, Susan and Sante. They are delightful people and ready to take care of any problems.
Overall, we had a great time, we enjoyed the house and location, and we would certainly consider renting the house again, although we already have other plans for next year.
