    About this property

Downtown! Huge 3,000 sq. ft Historic CVX Cottage, Sleeps 16! New Central A/c!

    Adults-only cottage in Charlevoix
Beautifully restored historic Charlevoix cottage. A surprising 6 bedrooms/4 baths make it the perfect place to host the entire family, right downtown so park the car once you arrive! The backyard is huge with a deck, patio, fire pit and tire swing! So much better than a cottage on the lake. You get the best of both worlds! Lake access only steps away and also steps from downtown! We literally never drive once there. Over and over we hear from our guests that they have been renting on Lake Charlevoix or Wallon for years and never again as being downtown is a game changer. Walk to bars, restaurants, the splash pad, free bike rental, or any of the different beaches on Lake Michigan or Lake Charlevoix. The teenagers can come and go as they please as they explore all charlevoix has to offer as they shop, paint pottery or go to the local cinema. Located just north of Round Lake between Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix in a quiet neighborhood of magnificent, large homes. Right around the corner from downtown (1.5 blocks). Beautiful large front porch that’s perfect for warm summer days and the spacious backyard that includes a historic century-old barn great for a scenic backdrop for photos and a stone patio with string lights for summer evening fun. Our cottage is only a one minute walk to a Lake Michigan public access! Large Weber Grill, antiques from around the world, and a fully stocked kitchen. There is not a better large home in all of Charlevoix to host large gatherings. They say location is everything, add the best location, a huge flowing floor plan and one of the most beautiful historic streets and backyard with comfortable furnishings and authentic curated cottage decor. We own 3 cottages in downtown Charlevoix and they are booked 100% of the time from June until the end of October. Our attention to every single detail separates us from the rest. We know how hard it is to choose a cottage, there are hundreds out there. We are our hardest critics and have used our travel experiences from all over the world to bring you the best guest experience possible. We do not use a vacation rental company. We often are the ones cleaning and when we can’t make it up we have the best cleaner and are available 24/7 for questions or concerns.
Air-conditioned accommodation at this cottage offers DVD players and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Kitchens offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and separate dining areas. Additionally, rooms include a hairdryer and an iron/ironing board.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or nearby; fees may apply.

      Great brothers’ golf weekend!

The home was great for a golf weekend. Close proximity to incredible golf and walk to downtown Charlevoix. Great amenities like the Sonos made for a great evening with my brothers.

        FABULOUS HOME! Responsive host

This is the best vacation home ever! We were in Charlevoix for our son's wedding and booked this house for our 10 member family and the groomsmen. We were delighted to find an immaculately clean, well-kept home with spacious rooms and a lovely outdoor area. My daughters kept saying it looked like the homes you see in home design magazines. The neighborhood is quiet and dignified and just a block or so from Lake Michigan. Charlevoix itself has a delightful little shopping district across from the marina. And our hosts were so helpful offering suggestions on where to hold the rehearsal dinner and catering to our needs. They respond quickly and graciously. We absolutely loved it and recommend it without hesitation!

          Fantastic place to enjoy Charelvoix

The owners have created a beautifully appointed family-oriented northern retreat. The location is just a few blocks from downtown and the lakeshore. The home is fully stocked with anything a vacationer needs, and Shawn and Jatell were great to work with and very responsive. My family agrees that we all think it's the best vacation we've ever had and we've stayed in a number of different vacation homes in the last decade. We'd love to return again!
