The hotel was below the standard I would expect and the service was sub par. We booked the hotel specifically for the pool as advertised but upon asking where the pool was, they said it was closed for refurbishment! So it's advertising facilities you can't actually access! I had requested for some milk to be provided to the room in order to make tea, coffee, chocolate however they replied with, "that will come at a cost". They wanted to charge me 8 CHF for some milk. I wouldn't expect such a brand to be so stingy. I would understand had I asked for a litre/pint of it... Room was smaller than I imagined and the bathroom was missing items and dirty. They were more than happy to provide the missing items. Views were non-existent in the room I stayed in. Walls are thin and I could here next door whenever they go into their ensuite. Shower did not maintain a decent temperature and instead kept going really hot then ice cold even without any adjustment. Continental breakfast was worth the money at 30 CHF per head for unlimited cold food (would need to pay more for hot food). Included things like wide range of fruit, cold meats, selection of croissants, biscuits, tea cakes, yoghurt, cheese and freshly squeezed fruit juice. Hot drinks were also included. No hassle here and good service was provided although someone had left bread in the toaster and made a cloud of smoke ruining our meal. For the price we paid, I expected better service as they didn't really care too much.

Staff were friendly and kind. The food was very good, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms were impeccable and the bathroom spacious.

Great property and great location. The only hiccup was we had rusty water one day. Also, the internet went out for a half day presumably due to a storm. The service was really outstanding though. The location to the U.N. was also really nice.
