Overall the service was good especially with the help by the manager to kindly upgrade us to a bigger room for free. The single room is too small for 2 people and the aircon in that room is ridiculously loud.
The $10 voucher promotion was a bit confusing as we stayed for 4 nights and didn't require any house keeping throughout because of that promotion, but we were only given 2 vouchers in one go. Tried to use them the next day but receptionists and the restaurant were given contradicting advice, so by using the $20 vouchers together it took us a good 20 minutes at least and in the end it looked like we were given a favour by being allowed to use them... Not very comfortable. It really didn't have to be that way for just $20.
Other than that, small issues here and there. Receptionists' services vary, though most of them are very helpful and kind, some of them were not very familiar with the touristy questions we asked. The rooms only had one set of toiletries but when i called reception, no one picked up even when I let the phone rang for quite a long time. Had to chase by another phone call to finally get my tooth brush.
Overall still a very nice hotel for its location and price. The manager is the most professional and he knows what he is doing.
