Cons:

Big Breakfast is a Bonus

Posted 23-Feb-2017
Pros: Breakfast
Location: Close to centre of Shopping in Murray St 7 Hays Mall.
Older style, beautifully kept. Breakfast included is the big plus Immediate local is still a bit seedy, but pub over the road is being renovated & will improve meal options whenit reopens.

Very comfortable stay in the city ..

Posted 28-Jan-2017
Pros: Clean, amenities, decor, location
Cons: The rooftop garden area in need of repair - really nice area to relax, have a drink & chat.
Location: Right near the main malls in Perth .. short walk to the river fore-shore.
We live in Perth and decided to stay in the city overnight for the Australia Day Skyworks .. followed with a beautiful buffet breakfast the next morning. The location is great, booking and organisation of our stay excellent ... rooms were cosy, clean and had everything we needed. The hotel has a really nice old European feel ... and of course the well-known lovely smorgasbord breakfast!

city centre

Posted 07-Jan-2017
Pros: The general feel and close to everything as it was what I wanted this time.
Cons: Night lights!
Location: Perfect!
It was interesting and a new experience as the hotel is nicely kept with an old feel about it. I loved it the staff was very nice. The breakfast was really nice. The only suggestion I strongly like to make is for an night light in the bathroom as the room with the lights out is very black, I normally sleep with the lights out but in this hotel did not. It was blacker than black!

Festive fare and decorations added to our stay

Posted 16-Dec-2016
Pros: Unusual layout and individual rooms. New lift since we last stayed here.
Cons: Nothing
Location: As above in review
Welcoming staff, charming room, excellent breakfast-what more could you want or need? Great location, close to public transport(nearby car park, but expensive overnight)and many local bars and restaurants. Only a short walk to Langley Park, where the annual Symphony in the City was on.

Central, quirky and with an amazing breakfast.

Posted 14-Dec-2016
Pros: Breakfast. Location. A few seedy restaurants around, but easy enough to walk over to Northbridge and St James Street for eating.
Cons: Rooms a bit dated, but comfortable.
Location: Train station for quick trip to Fremantle. Free buses to tour the city. Art Gallery of West Australia. Jetty for boats on the Swan (15 mins walk).
An unusual hotel, but perfectly located just off Barrack Street - walk to shops, station, jetty, restaurants. One of the free CAT buses which circles the city (on the red route) stops almost outside. The buffet breakfast is outstanding, and included in the room rate.

A lovely hotel

Posted 30-Nov-2016 on Hotels
The accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Miss Maud Swedish Hotel to anyone travelling to Perth and plan to book my accommodation at Miss Maud's when I next visit Perth.
