Disappointment

Posted 02-Feb-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Door lock system needs to be upgraded and also price of internet needs to be either free or less than $10
Two main issues Door locking was not good first occasion had to get reception to come and open door and subsequently it took a number of goes before the card key would work Internet $25 for 1 days internet is outrageous and it is my opinion too expensive

Three bus stops -Close to city centre

Posted 26-Jan-2016
The key cards & locks in entry need replacing. Very inconvenient to call staff most times to gain entry. Staff very pleasant though. Not the best Mantra I've stayed at.

Hotel cleanliness and comfort

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Air conditioning and cleanliness of bed linen
Location: Very close to city centre variety of things for all ages
The duvet on the bed had fresh tea stains on it. Air conditioning unit was extremely noisy and we were unable to sleep until we turned t off then we couldn't sleep because of the heat. Made me feel physically sick to think that I had tried to sleep in a dirty bed. Hotel changed our room for the second night and were very sorry for our experience. I asked that the first nights payment should be refunded as we were not really able to use room for its said purpose to I.e. To get a good nights sleep. They said that any refund must be given by yourselves (Expedia) very disappointed on this occasion hope next two bookings are better

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

Posted 08-Jan-2016
Pros: friendly staff and value for money
Cons: the corridors to the rooms
Location: the location is great, easy to get to for a central hotel, close to the WACA, public transport, royal perth hospital.
really enjoyed the stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean, tidy and roomy. We were given an upgrade from a standard double room to a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony which was great. the only improvement needed is to update the corridors to the rooms, they are clean though quite dark and dated. We would definitely stay there again. good central location with parking for the car.

Got a good deal for overnight stay

Posted 30-Dec-2015
Pros: Good restaurant.Very spacious room.Good access to rail/bus terminal.
Cons: Door key cards
Location: Good old fashioned basic Aussie pub about 200 m down the road.Central Perth within walking distance.
front of house pleasant and welcoming. Was given a whole suite which was quite good indeed.Had to report a damaged wardrobe mirror door.Rather surprised that it had not been picked up by housekeeping.Bedroom was able to be darkened to greater extent than a lot of other places which is good when first light is before 5.00 am.Roomy shower with good pressure.Dinner in the restaurant good quality and reasonably priced for Perth.Wait staff in restaurant very cheerful and efficient. One drawback was that keycard refused to operate lock to room which necessitated going back to reception 3 times before a staff member was able to open the room door. The comment from the other reception staff member that perhaps I didn't know how to use the key was not appreciated.I might have grey hair but I'm not in my dotage.Check out was quick and efficient.Taxi was rung and arrived promptly.

Holiday

Posted 22-Dec-2015
Pros: The size of the rooms
Cons: Someone to help with your cases to your room
Location: Don't no as we were picked up early morning, we will know more soon when we have our three day stay.
On arriving there were steps up to the hotel no ramp to bring up your cases, hard going for pensioners, very nice lady on the desk, but left to fend for ourselves with the cases ( very poor) safe not working, but they went out of the way to fix it. Young lady in the restaurant having breakfast needs some pr skills no smiles, go sit down, it was 6.30am but I watched her with other guest she was the same, she wasn't very welcoming.(lovely breakfast) We are booked in for another three days in a couple of days time with our granddaughter her partner and great granddaughter. We just had the one night on arrival to perth, we were up graded to a bigger room which was very nice of them.
