Overall very nice hotel in Perth

WiFi was slightly patchy at times, overall great stay. Staffs were very courteous, though when I arrived after 22:30, the doorbell didn't work and I was knocking on door for 5min till someone arrive.

hotel for concert at Kings park

Posted 27-Mar-2016
Pros: Foxtel to, music, iPad, location and breakfast and style.
Cons: Normal tv remote would be good, one that doesn't take half hour to figure out. Window that opens.
Location: We believe 20mins walk from kings park down hill, you wouldn't want to walk up hill to get there.
Fairly close to kings park where we attended a concert, had great intentions to walk home after concert with a guess we reckon about 20mins walk however ended up getting a taxi so didn't have to test theory. Taxi each way cost $10. Valet parking great as long as there is a vacant space nearby which we were lucky otherwise would have been a pain to find a quick five min bay. Room good, bed comfy, window doesn't open. Great bathroom with Foxtel and tv, iPad for use, Nespresso coffee in room. Yum breakfast. Overall room fairly expensive however it is boutique style.

Excellent ! Gorgeous room. Spotless and I'm fussy- very comfy bed, double glazed so no noise. Restaurant for dinner was really lovely fresh food . I can highly recommend it. Close to everything

All good but the credit card surcharge is much higher than other hotels I have stayed at.

Hotel was close to everything

Posted 10-Mar-2016
Pros: The Bed
Cons: I think the room we were in had one large basin in the bathroom, but there really wasn't much room to put your toiletry bag on either side.
Location: Location was fantastic, and within reach of all shopping areas etc
We enjoyed our stay, staff were faultless, it was close to everything we wanted to do, the room and especially the bed was so comfortable, had the best night sleep. And I would recommend staying there to anyone who asked.

Small things fall through the cracks

Posted 07-Mar-2016 on Hotels
It is a beautiful hotel and my first impression was that I wanted to give it 6 stars but the stay revealed sine issues. Noise from the restaurant does filter into the room sometimes. Whatever they had going on there Valentine's Day had the walls shaking It was so loud. Basic toiletries were not replenished until I asked for them by which point between morning service and turn down they had been in the room 5 times and even moved the near empty bottles around. WiFi is free but spotty. Nice hotel, good location, has some issues to fix if it truly wants to be top tier.

Great location - but five star? No. Way.

Posted 06-Mar-2016
Pros: I liked the checkin staff and the cleaning staff were excellent. The location on St George's Terrace is great
Cons: The overall design of the rooms does not do justice to the building. The media doesn't work. The wifi is very on and off and slow when working.
Location: Excellent location for business. Hard to beat.
Like many hotels in Perth, this one charges five star rates for a 3.5 star level of service. Some small things in the room were confounding - no working remote for the TV (and none could be found by the staff) - and the smallness of the windows and weirdness of the furniture choices made for an odd encounter. Perhaps the construction taking place at 6.45am every morning messed with my perceptions a bit (I thought most cities in the world did not allow this anymore, but in Perth it seems to be okay to bang metal on metal at this hour)... but there's also the fact that the shower makes everything in the bathroom wet... the remote supplied for the TV allows channel changing but not volume changing...
