Good location in the heart of the city, pleasant décor and friendly staff. Good value for money. The downside is the size of the rooms, they are tiny. I would prefer a smaller bed and more room around it, don't know why they would put queen size beds in such small rooms. Ok for one person or two with no luggage. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.
I recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Close to everything. If you can walk, handy to parks, river and city. Free bus (950) comes past hotel every 20 mins. No eating places nearby. A takeaway store is a 10 mins walk away to get milk, etc. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Staff working the kitchen were most obliging at all hours of the day and night.

spent 2 nights here before returning to uk. had a nice view opposite cathedral and room was generally comfortable. did some washing of my clothes in the facilities provided. asked one staff member where the laundry was and she seemed totally ignorant of where it was ! eventually found it myself ( in the basement).

Very good location in the central business district close to a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafe's and also handy for the free CAT bus, train station and the theatre. Excellent value for what is an expensive city for hotels. The hotel is being refurbished which it needs as our bedroom/bathroom was a bit dated. However our room was spacious, clean and mostly quiet from external noise (although we generally found Australian plumbing in hotels to be rather noisy compared to European standards). The hotel could benefit from a better choice of eating options and better leisure facilities (there is no pool although guests can have access to an off-site gym). We couldn't fault any of the staff who at all times were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.
