Good hotel, all the staff were excellent, really friendly and chatty. Room was quite dated and although comfortable was ready for a coast of paint and modernising.
Our stay in Perth was short but we definitely enjoyed it. The Parklands was close to the city centre and backs right on to a beautiful park. Our room was modern, clean, and well equipped. Should we make our way back to perth some day, Parklands will be at the top of our list.
We spent two nights there, using it as a base for touring the area, and on the whole had a very pleasant stay. The room was large, comfortable, and generally quiet - but on our 2nd night we got a lot of noise from the restaurant below as a large and raucous party were having a good time on a Friday ...
Booked whilst driving up the A9 and needed to stop. Arrived within half an hour of booking. No problem as everything was sorted. Lovely room and as the hotel didn't cook after high tea on a Sunday we were recommended an Italian restaurant a short walk from the hotel.
stayed at this hotel for a night, good clean hotel with friendly staff. Our room was fine, comfy beds and clean. Had a bar meal at it was very niceand there was plenty choice. The hotel has no car park as it is in the centre of Perth, but there is plenty of cheap parking within a couple of minutes ...
North of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, visitors can discover one of the country’s old capitals, the city of Perth, better known today for its attractive hotels and culinary delights than as a political centre. However, Perth and its surrounding areas still hold many of the landmarks that played a part in its history, including Scone Palace, a stately Gothic style castle where many of Scotland’s most famous kings were crowned on the Stone of Scone, one of the country’s most important and ancient relics. Other important regional attractions include the likes of Loch Leven Castle, a partially ruined 14th century building located on an island in Loch Leven, and the Black Watch Monument in Aberfeldy.
If it’s business that brings you to Perth and Kinross, or a work retreat, you are certain to enjoy your trip. If you are looking for the best professional amenities then staying at one of the region’s business hotels is bound to make your visit a profitable one.
