We've been to the resort several times. To be honest, I couldn't fault it, even if I wanted to. We've stayed in a room, a cabin and a garden room over the years and every one has been immaculate and very comfortable. The staff are lovely, the food and service is spot onand the pool facilities are ...
Hotel and room were great but this hotel is let down badly with the quality and quantity of the food. Dinner was just ok, starter was miniscule, main was ok and dessert waa very small. Breakfast was a real let down
Beautiful castle hotel! This is a place where you feel like you're at a second home. The staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like you belong. They obviously take a lot of pride in where they work and truly care that each and every guest have a special experience. When next I visit Scotland, ...
We were disappointed the pool and spa were so far from the hotel. We wouldn't have come in winter if we had known that. You should make that fact clear to potential clients.
We got a free upgrade to a 2 bed house which was perfect. Plenty room and very clean and comfortable. Stair gates in place and a high chair given free of charge. Front desk staff very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend. Only negative would be you have to pay extra to use the onsite pool and ...
Only stayed for 1 night, but it was very comfortable - cosy room, easily controlled heating, excellent bed and great night's sleep. Welcome gift of chocolates for my wife's birthday was appreciated. Standard double room on the 2nd floor, facing to the rear (over the hotel entrance), furnished to ...
Stayed for three nights. Despite the mix of excellent sunny weather, wet periods and hazy mornings, the view (lakeside with backing hill) from the room was excellent. The restaurant was excellent too. Lovely stay.
Great B&B. The owners were very friending and accommodating. Room was lovely and cosy. Breakfast was great.
Wonderful greeting and hospitality at the Arisaig. Lifted baggage from car to room and back again. Lovely room even given a thermos of milk so that it was fresh! Great selections of teas / coffee and great shortbread! Mountains of breakfast if you wanted and beautifully cooked and tasty breakfast! ...
Scotland is a prime destination for adventure enthusiasts, who flock to this northern country each year in hopes of catching waves off the shores of the Hebrides, summiting Munros like the towering Ben Nevis, and skiing the slopes of the Cairngorms National Park. Those heading north from either Glasgow or Edinburgh, however, should be sure to stop in the region of Perth and Kinross, which is not only home to some great trekking trails, like the 16 mile loop of Loch Leven, but also includes some of Scotland’s best salmon fishing and rafting spots long the country’s longest river, the River Tay. On top of the scenic outdoor beauty, visitors will also pass important historical sites, like Loch Leven Castle, the former jail for Mary Queen of Scots.
If you’re looking to get the most out of your Perth and Kinross adventure, then be sure to stay at one of the region’s adventure sport hotels, which will provide you with the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long and hard day outside.
