My daughter and I enjoyed this hotel. Our room had two twin beds and a little bathroom with a tiny shower. The breakfast was an additional 9 Euros and consisted mostly of bread, so we skipped breakfast. The wifi worked great. A few free computers with Internet access were downstairs in the dining room for guests to use. The hotel was only a few blocks from the nearest Metro station, with several small grocery stores nearby. It took us about 40 mins. on the Metro to get to the center of Paris. We had a TV and a small safe in our room. No air conditioning, but our room had a small fan. The staff were very nice and helpful. They called the airline for us to inquire about our missing luggage. The only problem was when the lady in the room next door smoked pot in her bathroom and then turned on the fan before checking out. The fan vented straight into our bathroom and made me gag. I had to get the clerk to open the room and investigate. She opened the window and turned off the fan, which solved the problem for us.
A few steps from Metro Portes de Vincennes
Very attractive last minute rate
Clean and newish room
We discovered some excellent restaurants within walking distance - frequented mainly by locals.
Very small room
Area can be a bit scary at night -
Staff were all lovely and friendly, room a good size and clean. Location is quite far from main attractions so be prepared to take the metro about 20 stops to the Eiffel Tower. Ace little bar/restaurant across the road that did good food and drinks at a reasonable price (Le Cantal) with English speaking staff. Breakfast at the hotel is €8.50 a day per person but worth it, we had for two days and enjoyed the easiness of it being at the hotel :)
The location was not that great, as it is directly opposite a market, and in a not so salubrious area of Paris. That said, I would stay there again as the room size and facilities were excellent (and clean), and they also have (very) secure parking.
