When in Penticton I usually stay at the Penticton Lake shore because of the location, price, lake, casino, restaurants.
we arrived to check in - and then left for a wedding. we didn't get back to late.
the hotel was so busy - great for the younger people in the wedding to stay out and attend.
My room was quiet even thought I was on the second floor facing the parking lot. I was happy with the parking rate really cheap compared to most places are double or more. Staff were friendly. I would have liked to take in more but didn't have time. Will do next trip as this is the best place to be in the summer.
The staff were very welcoming and the room exceeded our expectations for a budget hotel. The room was spacious, very clean and had a good kitchenette. The location of the hotel is right across the road from the beach and very close to the city centre, so close to everything. We did hear a little noise of people going to and from their room but nothing to disturb us, and we did have the windows open so some noise was to be expected. All in all, a great place to stay.
Great hotel for a good price. Dependably clean rooms, clean pool, useful continental breakfast and useful Wi-fi (it didn't lag, we were able to watch Netflix). The patio railing was loose, so we didn't use that out of concern for safety, otherwise it was great for our needs.

Good older motel on the beach strip in Penticton. Being directly across from the lake it was great for going for walks and getting around. Main Street, is about a ten minute walk from the hotel.
Rooms are clean and have all the necessities. I reserved a one bedroom suite, which sleeps four and has a full kitchen which comes in handy.
Being the off season, the place was quiet, which was good. Parking is free which is a bonus too.
Management is only there from ABOUT ten in the morning until sometime in the early evening...but friendly and easy going.
Soap and shampoo in the bathroom is not of very good quality, but is there.... I would recommend bringing your own.
It is a good place to stay for touring the wine region.
