This was a somewhat overpriced, average property. While it was technically a beachfront hotel, it was set well back off the beach behind an older, 1-story structure. Because of this, the view included vistas off the ocean but also of the parking lot and support areas on the property. In addition, a long, odd, elevated walkway was installed to get guests from the hotel to the beach. It worked, but it looked like a workaround. The property shows signs of aging. It wasn’t terrible, and buildings have a life cycle, but great management and facilities staff can work to slow the decline. It’s possible to keep older properties looking sharp. This one doesn’t quite get it. Not a major problem, but the shower valve had to be cranked down to keep the head from dripping. Another indication of how the facilities are maintained. Overall, this is an ok property. If you need a please to stay, this will do, but better values can be found with little effort.

The front desk staff were amazing, but we had daily issues with the cleaning staff. We would leave the hotel at 8:00 am and they would be standing in the hall on their cellphones. When we came back in late afternoon our room was still not cleaned. I had to go ask for clean towels, since they never cleaned. When we left for dinner they came and made beds, and then took our clean towels. They did not refill coffee or soaps.

Wonderful hotel very private with beach access. Could use a different way to access the walkway to the beach. You had togo through the frontdesk and dining area, or all the way to the parking and go through the pool area..

So upon arrival we learned we had to go up a floor to reach the lobby. Parking area is under hotel. I booked this hotel because their photos give off the idea that the hotel is on the beach. My in-laws are 70 and have a hard time walking and wanted to see the beach. The photos gave off a vibe that you walk out the door to a poolside beach. There is actually an elevated walkway that you have to take to reach the beach that goes down but the walk back up was pretty tough. Also I hopped floors for two days and all the ice machines weren’t functioning. I had to go to the front desk to get ice. If you have any trouble walking be careful where you book. The room was clean, and most of the staff was friendly. however the reason we took the trip was so they could enjoy the beach however they never made it to the sand so it was a waste of $500 for the room and the 4 hour drive to get there. I did voice my concern when we arrived but we were locked in with expedia and no rooms were available in the area so we had to stay. I’m posting an honest review for others. This would be a great place for families with children .

Very nice Beachfront Hotel and a quite and small property located right on this beautiful white sanded and mesmerizing beach of the Okaloosa Island. Rooms are very nice and clean and the hotel service was excellent . We are definitely planning to return.

Very small complaints
Overall, the stay was very pleasant. Only two real complaints to mention and one of them is just a personal preference more than a legitimate complaint. I went to get ice and the ice maker on every floor was broken. Not a deal breaker but disappointing nonetheless. The second thing was the shower design. It was one of those open concept doors with half a glass door near the shower head but the other side was wide open. It made it difficult to take a real hot shower as your backside is always exposed to open air. Like I said, not a legitimate complaint as much as a personal preference. Overall not too bad.

Very clean, affordable, friendly staff, and right on the beach! The hotel is in pretty quiet area. The rooms were very clean. For added security, you needed to scan your room key to go past the lobby (loved that!) They also have a ramp that leads right to the beach - my daughter loved playing with the beach toys the front desk team gifted her. Will definitely stay here again!

The service was exceptional from check in to check out. The housekeeper Chun was Especially helpful. We needed extra housekeeping in the room and she was so pleasant and more than accommodating to help us. would definitely recommend to others.

Our First stay at this Hotel. Absolutely loved it . Great Views. Loved that they had a nice restaurant and bar inside this hotel. They even had live music in the bar area all 3 nites we stayed. Michael the bartender was great. The room was very clean and comfortable.

I liked that you needed to have a guest card to access any floors above the parking and lobby. I wish that there would have been less parking under columns but I appreciated that the parking was free. I liked having the ocean view. It is too bad that there aren't balconies on this property. However with the building location, I don't know that having a balcony would make much of a difference since it would be over a parking lot instead of beachfront.
