"The house was unique and we are glad to have seen it. I’m sure it was magnificent in its day! The room was clean and well maintained. However, the stairs and hallway carpets looked dirty and were not in good condition. The patio could have been lovely to enjoy a glass of wine, but it was covered with debris and needed maintenance. I wish the patio lights had not stayed on all night or that there were blackout curtains in our room. The room was lit all night. We sure wished we could have enjoyed the breakfast, but we had to leave at 7:00 and they served at 8:00. The river was enjoyable for walks."
