Chocolate and his staff went above and beyond to make this a wonderful start to our Bali vacation. We were exhausted after 40 hours of travel. This is a quiet, clean place to recuperate. The surrounding gardens provided shade and tranquility. Chocolate made airport transfer and other transportation arrangements for us; this provided a huge peace of mind. There are wonderful restaurants within walking distance for lunch/dinner and a swimmable beach. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious. 10/10 recommend!!

Basic but nice place
This place is clean, quiet, close to the beach and nice. Air conditioning. But very basic. 1 pillow. No fridge. No safe. It is a home stay, not a hotel.

Hello, thank you for staying with us but we are sorry if our facility in this room not like what you expected. But usually we always have two pillows in each room and the safe we don't put yet because this room just finish right before the pandemic start so we prefer survive my self with my staff instead of buy the safe, sorry for this.... And for the fridge, we aren't sure if we going to add it in the room because for now the room price still consider low but i hope we will able to do this in future. This is a Good One
Friendly staff. Easy access to property. Clean, quiet, safe. Great restaurants / warungs nearby - loved d'Buca & visited many times during our week long stay. Also Krisna spa for massage is great. Wonderful snorkelling on biorock - please give donation for their wonderful work to continue. We will definitely return to Mango Tree Inn. One suggestion would be for cushions on outside chairs in front of room.

Great value, great location
Excellent location just a short walk from the beach. The rooms are lovely, the place is eco-friendly, and the owner is right onsite. Breakfast was great and served right to your room. Great deal for the price!

Quiet, relaxing b&b
We rounded out our trip to Bali at this inn. It was quiet, relaxing, peaceful, tucked off the main road, next to a papaya and mango plantation. Our room was decent, for the price we paid, but didn't have a TV (which is fine) and the wifi shut off at 9:30 pm nightly. The beach was a short walk (5 minutes max down a quiet path) and litter and hawker-free! The breakfasts were good, and the fresh local fruit provided yum. The Warung Setia across the street on the main road was the cheapest eats in Bali - a must visit (we ate every lunch and dinner there for 4 days!). Overall a great place to stay!

A fantastic budget option
The room is lovely and very similar to more 'upmarket' options in the area. We loved the beautiful outdoor shower. There was no shortage of hot water. The breakfasts each day were excellent and very filling. The Wi-Fi is good in the rooms so I think has been upgraded since earlier reviews. The location is so handy to restaurants, shops and the beach. We really couldn't ask for better.

Beautiful quiet hotel very close to beach.
This is a beautiful small hotel where each room overlooks a nicely landscaped garden. The hotel is only a few mins walk from the beach as well as the main road where there are lots of restaurants and a Mini mart. Despite it's proximity to the main road the hotel is tucked away and very quiet an serene (I enjoyed hearing only the sound of the birds and water fountain). The room is a good size with a firm mattress. The outdoor bathroom was really nice and private. I never experienced taking a shower outside so it was really cool doing so here. The rooms get cleaned everyday. A very delicious breakfast is served right at your hotel room and they had a very good selection of various items to eat, which you get to personally choose every day. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. They helped me book a snorkelling tour to Menjangan Island. I highly recommend going to Pemuteran and visiting North Bali. It's not as busy here as compared to the south so you can actually relax on your holiday. This was a great way to end our 4 week holiday overseas.

Excellent Experience
The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is the thin walls. They do request quiet hours after 9pm which is good since one of the neighbors liked to play a lot of music - they followed the house rules and turned it off at 9. Choc was great in making sure we were comfortable. He went above and beyond in helping me find transportation to the monkey temple when I was unable to dive due to an ear infection. Chok also arranged a massage for me at my request and had good restaurant suggestions. The staff was wonderful, preparing and delivering our breakfast every day and keeping our room very clean. They were all very courteous. The location is good, within walking distance to a local snorkeling and diving beach and several good restaurants. There are also a couple of mini-markets within walking distance. Chok offers to let you fill your water bottles from his supply for the price of a donation. As a guest, you have access to an open-air kitchen with hot water pot and a refrigerator for a few items. He was also able to provide us with some beach tiles for our stay, although sometimes these items may be unavailable. The large bed was comfortable and we did use the romantic mosquito netting when we saw a couple come through our door. The bathroom with no roof was beautiful with all the natural stone, wood, and plantings. We used Chok's driver to deliver us from Sanur to Pemutaren, and then from Pemutaren to Tulamben.

Favorite Part of Bali
Pemuteran is hands down the best part of Bali and this hotel is one of the best hotel experiences I've had anywhere! The hotel is eco friendly, has unlimited complementary water and breakfast with quick access to the beach. The staff is so insanely kind and hospitable! We even lost our room key while snorkeling and they refused to charge us for it. Breakfast is basic but nourishing before your fun day of adventuring. The bathroom was outdoors but very enclosed and private, I loved it so much! The shower was fabulous and the hot water actually worked! The aircon was super cold!

Decent place for a stopover
We chose this place as a stopover before our ferry to Banyuwangi. Pros: This was the most value for money out of the other options. Room was clean and spacious for our big backpacks. Free breakfast included which fueled us for our journey to Banyuwangi. Walking distance to food and massage areas. Cons: Not soundproof. Hard bed. No affordable taxi service to ferry. Some mosquitos due to the nature of the place. Wifi is limited so we mainly used our data plan.

Amazing hotel!
The Mango Tree was awesome! We spent a week there and seriously have no complaints. We loved the hotel with its great breakfast made to order, fast wifi, beach access (2 minute walk), and terrace and garden. The owner, Chok, has great English and is very accommodating. I was sick the first day I arrived in Bali and he brought me a coconut free of charge to help me feel better. He is always around if guests have any questions. He also organized an amazing snorkelling trip and a car for us to our next destination in south Bali. We will definitely be back. 10/10 - highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay.
This hotel is close to the beach and good restaurants. Breakfast was lovely as were the owners and all the staff. The outside bathroom was great but not so good at night when the mozzies were out. The room was nice but basic and well worth the price. A bit noisy in the mornings but that's probably true of all the places to stay in the area.

Ich hatte das Zimmer bestellt, mit den blich auf den Berg. Man wollte mir jedoch das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss geben! Ich sollte warten, bis klar wäre ob es nicht doch noch gebucht wird. Ich erinnerte, das ich dieses Zimmer im 1. Stock gebucht hätte!! Das muss ich bemängeln. Die Nachfrage nach einem late checkout wurde erst beantwortet, als ich schon weg war! Die Kommunikation hier war nicht ok. Das geht so nicht !Alles andere war gut und angenehm. Wenn das abgestellt werden kann, empfehle ich es gerne weiter

Das Mango Tree Inn ist ausgezeichnet, ruhig in der Seitengasse unweit vom Meer entfernt. Der Hausherr begrüßt jeden Gast persönlich. Ein Junger Balinese der auch schon einige Zeit in Amerika lebte. Wunderschöner Garten.

Chok ist ein sehr zuvorkommenderGastgebr, der seine Gäste eher wue Freunde betrachtet. Er organisiert auch kurzfristig Ausflüge (bei mir war es schnorcheln), Massagen oder Fahrer zu echt fairen Preisen. Das Hotel liegt ca. 5min vom Strand entfernt - Läden, Restaurants und Supermarkt sind ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Obeohl die Hauptstraße sehr nah ist, ist es dort absolut ruhig. In jedem Fall empfehlenswert - ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

dari hotel ke pantai bisa jalan kaki. pantai bagus, air jernih bisa lihat ikan2 kecil dan terumbu. untuk ke restorant terdekat sekitar 10-15menit jalan kaki. lokasi hotel di area pemuteran makan pagi biasa saja, kekurangan hotel ini tidak ada hot water untuk mandi

Great guest house. The room and environment is clean. You do have to keep a close look for the signage. The way in is enough for a car and there is open parking area by the garden next to the owner house. So it is safe. The room clean. Air conditioned. During the time I stayed there was no mosquitos. Wifi is decent though it will phase out or disconnected at times. Phone signal is hard here. Bathroom is semi outdoor and clean. There is only soap, so bring your toiletries. Breakfast is included in my room package and its very good above my expectations. The owner is friendly and likes to checkin and provides good local recommendation. It is a short walk to the beach to swim or snorkeling. The area is famous for it, water is nice and clean. I would recommend the place for a getaway.

À recommander sans hésitation!
Accueil chaleureux dès notre arrivée. Très beau paysagement. Décoration de très bon goùt. Propreté impeccable. Personnel extrêmement gentil. Propriétaire tres disponible, nous a aidé à organiser notre sortie de snorkeling à l'île de Menjangan et notre transport pour le retour vers Ubud.

Wunderschöne Oase
Das Zimmer war super schön, vor allem die gepflegte Open Air Dusche. Das einzige was fehlte, war eine Ablagemöglichkeit für unser Gepäck und die Klamotten. Chok war sehr hilfreich beim organisieren von Touren. Das leckere Frühstück wird jeden Morgen pünktlichst auf der Terrasse serviert.

Mooie kamer in prachtige tuin vlakbij strand.
De kamer in bungalow stijl is schoon. De badkamer is in de open lucht: douchen onder de sterren. Aan de voorzijde is een privé terras waar s 'morgens ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Gesitueerd in mooie tuin. Strand op 5 minuten loopafstand. Goede restaurants op loopafstand. Vanuit hotel zijn trips te boeken. Koud drinkwater bij receptie tappen. Eigenaar is enthousiast en behulpzaam.

Thd mango tree Inn open not long time ago, the place if very nice, quiet area convenient not far from beach. Not far restaurant for diner. If you had question, Cook, the owner can help you. The place is not a big resort only 5 rooms, perfect place to stay.
