The property and accommodations are accurately described. The staff is professional, helpful, and friendly in every sense of the word. My wife and I felt that our stay Auberge de la Madone was truly an experience not to be missed, one of a kind. Plenty of safe parking. The dining was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Attacked by waiter (for suggesting they offer transfer service). Later, Owner emailed saying he'd been my Mentee at work. Begged me not to prosecute. Would refund/address etc. Last I ever heard. True!

Me and my wife were touring in Peillon and spent a night in the only hotel there. The unique place, unique atmosphere of medieval architecture, mountain quietness, pure kindness of personnel who greet you at Auberge de la Madone. Excellent dining with magnificent view from the top of a sheer cliff. Another particular surprise was to meet there a Ukrainian woman - Lyera, a restaurant waitress, who escaped Russian terrorist bombardment her home city Kharkiv, thus managed to save her life… We highly appreciated her professional skills, politeness and attitude: her attention while serving us a dinner worthy of all praise!

Very beautiful area, professional, friendly, helpful staff and kind and welcoming owner. Neighbours are not so friendly with newcomers, they were very rude and did not welcome us the same way as the staff of the Auberge de la Madone. Highly recommend if you want a taste of the traditional French country experience. Fresh local ingredients and niçoise recipes on the menu. An absolute treasure!

Friendly staff
Friendly staff. Room was 2 star. Check in and out very easy. Food choices were limited. Not a convenient location. Beautiful spot and remarkable village next to hotel.

Superb quirky hotel with excellent views The food is the best I’ve ever had , very reasonably priced. A little bit dated but once you’ve tried the food who cares about the decor . Was clean and comfortable .access up a very twisty winding road high up so you need to be a confident driver .

Loved the friendliness of the staff. Most amazing service. I can’t express enough how great the staff were. They were always so helpful patient and smiling. The best staff in all of Europe. From Italy the rest of France Switzerland Germany the Netherlands and all over America. The staff here were the best I have ever experienced. They do it all really. The chef/owner made the most wonderful meals. The staff, the village and the views made the ancient rooms worth the stay. The most amazing village I have ever seen. WOW!!! Really! Very worth it. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully simple place in a hidden gem little mountain village. No mainstream tourists! Beautiful village, great hiking trails with stunning views. The staff are so friendly and the restaurant is great. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, historic building with the most amazing view. Although the room did not have modern amenities, it was comfortable. The food is amazing and the service was perfect. The views can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Clean comfortable room with a wonderful restaurant. Friendly staff. Tranquil setting in a beautiful village. WiFi could use improvement not in speed but in connectivity as the signal constantly dropped. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel was wonderful, we were greated by one of the owners of the hotel and he carrried our bags up to our room. He told us the lovely story of the hotel and how it came to be, and he checked in on our dining experience and was there when we checked out! This hotel has a lot of history, character, and a stunning view. We want to thank Matthew for the wonderful experience and hope to one day return!

An enchanting, untouched village. A must see!
Peillon is absolutely amazing. The village is at the top of this hill and it's tucked away like something you'd see in Lord of the Rings. This hotel was so beautiful and it has the best view ever! The staff was incredible and kind. They even have a Michelin restaurant right there in the hotel and the food was phenomenal! If you want a quiet, quaint getaway to explore another world. Definitely try this hotel out.

Good food and wonderful view in a historical unexplored atmosphere, but inadequate room services without cleaning or changing blankets and towels, no internet connection and complicated transfer. Hotel personals are not willing to take action to solve guest requests. A private or rental car is a must, but also difficulties in finding gas stations. No other restaurants or shops in the entire village.

Situé dans un village perché dans la montagne l hôtel est bien situé avec vue sur la vallée,les chambres sont convenable,je déconseille les chambres standards dont les fenêtres donnent sur un mur,le restaurant est du très grande qualité ,les plats sont excellent un plus pour le sommelier qui est exceptionnel tant par sa bonne humeur que part sa grande connaissance des vins et ses conseils pour tout

Malerisch gelegene Unterkunft. Gutes aber teures Essen, sehr nettes Personal. Zimmer ok, könnten aber gelegentlich renoviert werden. Heizung nicht zu regulieren. Vorsicht bei aufpreispflichtigem "Zimmer mit Blick ins Tal": es könnte eine Tanne davor stehen!

Le village est magnifique ! La restauration est divine ! Par contre : Pas pratique pour la grosse valise avec tous les escaliers faire le tour de l'hôtel le matin pour rejoindre la voiture.. j'ai fait mon sport de la journée ! ET puis aussi dommage la vue sur le mur de la chambre, alors je sais que j'ai pas pris la chambre la plus cher, mais bon.. et aussi je trouve l'hôtel défraichi ( ca dénote avec la cuisine) des trous dans les murs de ma chambre, le mobilier... un petit coup de rénovation et cet endroit serez un bijou. Bonus : les savons avec la présence d'EDTA ( matière controversée..) Ca vaut pas le prix.

Realmente el Hotel y el sitio es como de fantasía, vale la pena la experiencia porque es como retornar en el tiempo, la comida es más que excelente y la ambientación es magnífica. El personal es maravilloso. Todo en este sitio vale la pena.

Allein schon Peillon ist eine Reise wert! Ein reizendes, einmalig gelegenes Dorf im Hinterland von Monaco. Das Hotel ein Erlebnis, mit alten schönen Möbel eingerichtet, sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Und das Essen im Restaurant war liebevoll serviert und super fein. Alles absolut zu empfehlen, ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Great location but older facilities
The charm of this hotel lies in its great location at the bottom of a beautiful village perched in the mountains and its nice terrace.the food is also great if you are ready to pay for it. The rooms however are far from modern though functional.

Une adresse à connaître...
Très bien accueilli, service parfait établissement bien tenu. Seul bémol pour la chambre, l'isolation phonique (mon voisinage n'était pas des meilleurs...) Restaurant gastronomique dans l'hôtel tout simplement parfait. Je vous conseille fortement cette adresse.
