Tweedside Hotel is located in Peebles. Old Gala House and Halliwell's House Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Kailzie Gardens and Great Polish Map of Scotland.
The location was good fir us. We were biking the area. The dislikes are that we felt the hotel was very dated. The power plugs caused a spark when charging up our computer! The staff were very nice and helpful which helped our overall disappointment in the place!
Run down, forgot we has booked breakfast, although the money for this was refunded.
I left a very conservative criticism of the cleanliness of the rooms and the furnishings. The owner was not pleased and replied with a number of untruths. This establishment is a pub with outdated rooms . The standard is very poor and certainly not up to general standards
The owners of the BB were so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. It’s a great wee place right in the certain of the town
I left a poor review recently which was due to a clerical mix up regarding costs of a hotel change from the Tweedside. This was solved very amicably by Tina so don’t let the review put you off.
