"I had the most beautiful experience in a remote town. The property is surrounded with hills and nature, quiet and homely. We relaxed in the hot tub and all learned how to manage the wood fired maintenance. Everything I wanted for my 60th Birthday. We all walked to a local pub but mainly entertained ourselves with games, painting and socialising. Can only describe the place as perfect. Slight negative as one shower was cool. The kitchen had every utensil and more ! So homely. Thank you for making my special day even more special xx"

"This was the perfect venue for a family get-together of 6 adults and 7 dogs between us to celebrate my big birthday! Everything was on hand for the dogs from the outside warm wash facility to dog towels, protective throws, bowls, balls! Even though we had packed everything for them it was good to know! The safe, fenced paddocks provided endless fun for the dogs to play together - an idyllic spot. Of course the dogs come first on a holiday because if they are settled we can relax - and that we did! Comfortable sofas and lovely log fire for a foggy day! Thoughtful groceries were provided including scrummy cake - much appreciated! Lovely large pine table for playing board games in the evenings!All in all a lovely cottage for a very memorable family weekend - thank you so much "

"We recently stayed for a short break, perfect base for our visit to Alton towers which we were not far from, thoroughly enjoyed the views, just beautiful. Cottage had everything needed for our stay, wood burner was lovely and kept it nice and cosy! Mick was very helpful and checked in to make sure we were settled! The WiFi was great for us, don’t expect signal - a perk for us! We would definitely recommend this cottage if you are looking for a base or even just a little getaway, relaxing with a beautiful location what’s not to like!"

"Wonderful cottage, a perfect size for our family of 4. The accommodation is on a working farm but was quiet throughout with lovely gardens. Alton Towers was a short drive away as well as sports for hiking / nature. "
