The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax on the porch swing and watch birds and hummingbirds fly by. The living room has comfy leather furniture with large windows to enjoy the view. The house features four bedrooms, two baths and sleeps 12-14 comfortably. The Payson House is in a great location......in Payson! Just 2 miles off of the Beeline Hwy(87), so you'll be close to town for all your shopping needs, from grocery stores, restaurants, theater. park and Mazatzal Casino. If you just want to kick back and relax or take on the great outdoors, the Payson House offers both. Incredible hiking area just 5 minutes away with easy to intermediate hiking, with trails that lead to the top of the mountain range that you can see from our viewing deck....beautiful! (Bring your binoculars!) Superb Mountain Biking just minutes away as well! Lounge in the 'Little Forest area" down below the main house where you will find a fire pit and benches for casual conversation or for a larger group. Pitch a tent(s) and view the stars at night while eating a delicious s'more. There is a CORNHOLE game. We also have a Pool Table and a Ping Pong table! WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! Outside our back door is a great area to walk your pets. Plenty of places for hiking for you and your dog(s). If you like to fish, many lakes are to be found on the Mogollon Rim. You are only 40 minutes from Roosevelt Lake which is known for fantastic bass fishing. The East Verde River is only 20 minutes away and is stocked on a weekly basis during fishing season. The owner usually gets his limit almost every outing. Woods Canyon lake is also great for fishing and kayaking, etc. We are just forty minutes away from Kohls Ranch, which offers horseback riding and fishing on Tonto Creek. Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery is a must see! The Natural Bridge is just 15 minutes away. ATTENTION- this vacation home is located in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups.
