"It's a good place to stay , rooms are decent..close to beach .ice machine works .pool is open and clean. The bad is towels .Bring your own towels and your good!
Hard your them too give every room 6-8 towels....
Seen a few unhappy people over towels...

"We stayed at the Lone Star Inn in Dickinson for a couple of days as a stop during our family vacation this summer, and I was honestly impressed. I was a bit hesitant at first since it’s not a big chain hotel, especially while traveling with kids—but as soon as we walked into our rooms, my concerns disappeared.
We booked two rooms, and both were very clean, including the bathrooms. The rooms had all the basics we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a no-frills place, but everything was well maintained and just what we needed to rest.
The location is also super convenient—right off the highway, with plenty of fast food options nearby, even a Starbucks within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall, the location, price, and cleanliness made this a great choice for our family. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place to stay.

"We were so thankful this little gem was available for our family while we waited to close on our new home. Michelle and Robert were amazing and made us feel like family. The kids loved the loft area and there was plenty of space to play in the yard. If you are in the area for any occasion, I would definitely recommend!"
