"Location perfect for our group get together - 30 mins stroll into Skipton. Breakfast good however staff need more training in replenishment of items Dinner OK - very expensive for what it was as were drinks. Service not great as order taken incorrectly meaning one of our group got his meal later than the rest - they didn't charge him for it. Reception staff very good & helpful"

"A lovely hotel with 'an old English' atmosphere. The dining room was amazing and the breakfast (and staff) was outstanding. I didn't have dinner there as the prices were steep. But it's only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Harrogate. The parking was £12 per night which I think is far too much, especially as they advertise over 100 spaces so there is no need to fleece people like that. The wifi was strong so I was happy about that."

"Practical and pretty decent. The new style rooms are good. Still a bit overpriced for the area but solid. Only issue is walls are thin so can hear everything in next room and lights wired slightly wrong so no way to turn off bathroom light. It’s just teething problems as room just been refurbed. At times a little understaffed at reception but staff are all Lovely and very helpful. Overall would recommend."
