Pasto Vacation Packages
Be sure to check out everything Pasto has to do and see. Visit the Plaza del Carnaval or the Plaza de Narino.
But of course, there is more to Narino than Pasto, so try to allow a few days to explore this region's cultural and natural attractions. Ipiales, 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the northeast, and Providencia, 45 miles (72 kilometers) to the east of Pasto are worth a visit too.
Use your best Spanish and bond with the locals in Narino. Why not try to pronounce "¿Querría bailar conmigo?" This translates to "Would you like to dance with me?" You'll also realise that knowing "Este caballero pagará por todo", which means "This gentleman will pay for everything", can get you a long way.
Be aware, if you are planning to be in the region around the 20th of July, Independence Day is widely celebrated at that time and banks, business and some attractions may have changed opening hours.
At the end of your adventure in Narino, you'll be sure to bid this region a sad "Adiós" But be comforted by the fact that you'll be leaving with memories and momentos that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
