Basic stopover hotel
Basic stopover hotel, just over an hour from Calais. Clean and comfortable although a little shabby. Helpful staff. Good value food. Plenty of parking with secure gates overnight.

It was a nice clean room, wouldn’t call it 3*, more like 2* as it was extremely basic, bed and shower only. It was great for what we needed it for and the price was very good

Malheureusement meme pour une nuit l hôtel n etait pas bien du tout. Le chauffage ne marchait pas et il faisait tres froid, on entendait les voisins, la chambre etait tres basique

Avoid at all costs
Hotel is currently a building site, rooms smell of new paint, scaffolding up, old furniture in carpark, avoid like the plague, this property does not do the Campanile brand any good.

Very Basic
This hotel is in desperate need of modernisation and renovation; the rooms are very small and basic and could certainly use a coat of paint and re-grout the bathrooms. The room was not really so clean, not disgusting, but not great when you look past the freshly made bed, it looks like the vacuum cleaner they use does not clean anywhere near the edge of the carpet, there was hair covering the toilet seat and the shower curtain was generally grubby. There is only a very very small TV. The reception, bar and restaurant area was generally nice and tidy and clean, although only a basic food menu is available and not much choice at breakfast time.

Good value and handy location
The hotel is in a good location for breaking a journey, with easy access to nearby historic sites. Food at dinner was good and at breakfast plentiful supplies of usual continual breakfast items - good baguettes and croissants. Rooms are not very spacious, especially for 3, but reasonably comfortable. Elderly relative with limited mobility had a disability adapted room which was easy to access from the disabled parking space. The hotel is in a commercial area, so that isn't particularly attractive, but the hotel itself has some nice flowers and grass patches outside the block of rooms. All in all, good value.

Great overnighter
Really handy for the night during a long journey. Lots of cheap hotels in the area, but this was much nicer - surrounded by trees and surprisingly quiet

Great location within short driving distance of several restaurants, secure parking lot, good buffet breakfast and friendly service ! Our base to visit Vimy memorial and other WWI memorials.

Excellent stopover en route to Paris
I arrived late in the night as a stopover en route to Paris from UK. It's ideal as it has gated parking as I was carrying musical equipment. Perfect stay just off the motorway.

Nice and simple
The staff were friendly and helpful and checked us in very quickly. The room was a nice size, part of our floor was a little sticky so could have been cleaned a bit better. My only real issue was that there was only one plug socket! There's a heater in the bathroom which has an innocent looking switch above the toilet but it switches off automatically and not by pressing the switch again. We learnt the hard way and accidentally turned the bathroom into a sauna.

Part of a chain of hotels. Good value for money. As a family of 3 adults there was not a lot of room - the third bed was pulled out from the main bed but it sufficed for a short trip. We ate 2 nights running in the hotel and enjoyed the meal - it meant we could drink wine and not worry about driving back. Also took advantage of the good weather to sit in the garden. General appearance of the hotel rather run down but it provided a cheap option in an area we specifically wanted to visit. Would recommend the Lens Louvre and the Piscine gallery at Roubaix for art lovers.

the hotel was grubby and not kept well.
The hotel was badly in need of an update. the sheets were clean but worn and 'pilled' The out side areas were 'well smoked in', and the first room we were offered had been smoked in. Wierd comment from receptionist was "I could understand if it was winter but, well it is summer" The break fast was sparse to say the least, and the coffee, un drinkable. But hey, it was very inexpensive!

Centrally situated for visiting Western Front site
Very good accommodation, perhaps room was a little on the small side but nevertheless comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and staff were very attentive to our requirements. Breakfast was enjoyable, but we were a litle disappointed at the early finish time of 09.00 Hrs.. Well situated for touring the area and with lots of amenities nearby. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Quiet hotel, good clean accommodations
In the area to visit D Day sites. Close to major roads. Had dinner at hotel one night and it was quite good. Rooms clean and comfortable. Could have used more towels and pillows - but we forgot to ask if we could get more. Second one in this chain that we have stayed at and would definitely stay with this chain again.

Assuming you can find this hotel which if you use use your sat nav you won't because the directions are wrong you will be be disappointed to find a lack of customer care from the staff. There was no dinner available but Lidl next door provided enough snacks to keep me alive until I could leave. There was a sign on the door that warned not to fire guns inside. I couldn't wait to leave

we only had a one night stay but this was our first in a campanile. The staff were welcoming, the room clean tidy and comfortable we could not have expected more. we were very pleased by the level and quality of the food and dining area. in all very good value for money and we would be happy to recommend and use again.

Standard Campanille hotel, somewhat tired and decor needing a refresh. We were given a poor room with view of a staircase and walls badly in need of a paint job. For one night it was ok but for any longer would have asked for a change.

Would use again!
Could do with a bit of decorating, a bit more cleaning. Bedding and towels immaculate and the mattress was the best I have ever slept in. Best nights sleep in years. Didnt dine at the hotel but the food smelt divine. Would definately use this hotel again, as located in a great place for shopping and visiting the Somme.

Good overnight stop but basic
Heat didn't work but they run and get us a kettle when it was missing. Nice little coffee station, nice big desk and working internet. Fine for the one night. Restaurant with little buffet and a la carte menu decent enough for the price. We found it quiet but our room was tucked in the lower corner.
