"We love a place where we park our car and don't leave. It was so nice and peaceful by the river. We never saw another person even with having other houses nearby but still private. The covered porch with rocking chairs and a swing with the sound of the rushing water then put a hot tub under the stars the 2 days was not enough. Looking forward to a return trip. The kitchen was well equipped and appreciate the extra spices and such. Used to think not having a dishwasher we were roughing it. But we were not. Did not catch and release any fish but fishing from your deck priceless. Cabin is close to Blueridge and other points of interest . This was our 44 anniversary and the porch, river and hot tub was all that was needed to relax."

"From the very beginning of booking the host was very responsive to my questions, we’ve been anticipating this trip for a few months. Once we arrived we were blown away, it’s absolutely beautiful here. Everything was clean, everything worked, beautiful setting and so peaceful. The host called to make sure we arrived safely which meant a lot to me. All the rooms were clean, everything you need for cooking, beautiful creek right out back to fish from. The fire pit area is amazing, I just can’t say enough good things about it. We absolutely plan on booking this again and bringing our kids who love to fish as well. It’s close enough to town for groceries (Walmart nearby), close to Blue Ridge and the train station which is a must do. Yet you feel so secluded here, it’s beyond peaceful. Our only disappointment is we can’t live here! We celebrated our 21 year anniversary here."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin this past weekend. The weather was hot, but thanks to all the activities there was to do at the cabin we had a super time. We played board games I haven’t played since I was a kid, played Galliga and PAC Man till we couldn’t see straight and even learned how to play a few card games. The hot tub is amazing and there are some cool outdoor activities to do as well. I mean, we literally could’ve stayed there the whole time and not run out of fun things to do!"

"Beautiful view, great cabin, near everything yet completely secluded. Make sure you have a car that can navigate small graveled mountain paths. My husband and I had a wonderful time and it was a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring."

"Perfect for a romantic get away! The cottage was very clean and we loved the decor. We had the most relaxing weekend. The location is secluded and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. There is a short walk from the parking area to the cottage, but we didn’t mind at all. The town with some restaurants and a great bar (Bar 21) is close by."
