"The Galaxy Hotel is a very convenient place to stay for the price, but it will not be for everyone. It is very close to the airport, but there is no aircraft noise. There are lots of shops and small restaurants in the vicinity. Do not neglect to treat yourself at Crepier Breizh, 83 Đ. Lam Sơn, which is less than a minute's walk away. My iced milk tea and Nuttella, banana, strawberry and almond crepe was fantastic. The important thing to remember is that there are many hotels in this area and the Galaxy Hotel doesn't really stand out. I was comfortable, but my room, and I suspect most rooms, had no windows. That's not great and noise from the hallway was intrusive when one very noisy family came in. Still, everything was clean, the AC worked well, space was okay, bathroom was fine. For one person staying one night, it was just fine, but certainly not a destination. It is down a tiny lane off a small street in the warren of streets in that area. There is an elevator in this hotel, but you must first climb a flight of stairs to get in the front door, so it will not be usable by anyone who can't climb stairs. So, if you're fit and would rather spend your money experiencing the sights, sounds and tastes of Ho Chi Minh City than on your hotel, the Galaxy Airport Hotel is just the place."
