"No frill hotel but clean and the bed was comfortable. Right off the highway and close drive to many of the caves in the area. Walking distance to restaurants and an ice cream/coffee shop. Good price for the stay."

"Staff was very friendly and welcoming when we interacted at the front desk and when passing staff in the hallways. Our room however was not cleaned throughly upon on arrival. The floors in the bathroom and entryway were sticky and the carpet was damp throughout the room. The carpet was so dirty that our socks became black after walking around the room for an hour. So much so, that we had to throw them all away. There were also several food stains on the chair in the room and the fridge was still full of old food from the previous guest. The window curtain had several brown stains and the outer most blankets on both beds had stain spots as well (threw those on the floor before sleeping). We checked in on a thursday evening then stayed 1 full and were only in the room for a few hours, mid-day and to sleep at night. When checking out saturday morning I mentioned the cleanliness issues with front desk. The staff member apologized about the conditions of the room and said they would let the custodians know so they could get it cleaned properly. I mentioned that the floor was so wet and dirty, the only reason I didn't ask for a new room was due to the minimal amount of time we would actually be spending in the room other than sleeping. Again, staff responded by saying they would make sure the room was cleaned after we left. Lastly, the pool had a lot of loose hair floating around and there was dirt or sand accumulating in the corners. "

"Breakfast was a wonderful surprise with the unique egg station and omelets made to order. The variety of other items on the breakfast bar were excellent. The hotel is next door to Tony's Steakhouse. We had dinner at Tony's on our first night and had a great meal. Tony's ambience, food and staff were outstanding. I would definitely stay at Embassy Suites on my next visit to Bowling Green ! "

"Stop using so many air fresheners everywhere. Entire property, lobby and rooms stinks like chemicals. No one wants to breathe this crap all night."
