Good location, small room.

Posted 30-Aug-2016
Pros: Location, front desk service, air-conditioning.
Location: Small grocer, several bars and restaurants. Walk a few blocks and you are in the middle of everything. We utilized a laundromat around the corner.
Situated well around restaurants, a little store, services, a mall and most importantly a transit/train station. Front desk staff was very helpful all around, and no English issues. Be forewarned, the room is small. The main part of the room is smaller than my bedroom. However, once you get in and settled down, no issue. And for us, we just used it as a place to sleep it really didn't matter. The bathroom was fine, even had a full bath. The elevator was humourous, as it was the size of a very small closet. No problem, it was just different. We couldn't ride in it together with our luggage. We got it for location and the fact it had air-conditioning (not a given in Europe, so if that's important, be sure to check).

I wouldn't sleep in this hotel if I got paid to

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Cons: Everything
Location: Crazy nightlife maybe
After checking in and going at two rooms where pillows were missing and stuff thrown everywhere, next door rooms where people moaning and yelling all kind of nasty words, I had to leave the place even knowing that there was no refund on my booking, it just wasn't a safe place to spend the night. This by far has been the worst hotel experience.

bien situé

Posted 21-Aug-2016

Breakfast... eat and go!

Posted 23-Jul-2016 on Hotels
They were nice enough to allow an early check-in. They presented me with a coupon for a welcome drink, but with extremely limited hours so it was wasted. The room was small but enough space for me. If I had someone else with me it may have felt tight. The door knob fell off the first time I tried to leave and it took a few minutes to figure out how to put it back and leave. In the morning, following my first night I went to claim my included breakfast, which was more extensive than expected and enjoyable. As I was there on business I had my laptop with me to answer emails and make appointments and bookings. I sat enjoying my coffee and working after the breakfast time ended and apparently this bothered the attendant who was quite rude in telling me the area was now closed... as if I had done something truly offensive to him. The next day he was quite short, I didn't stay any longer than it took to eat my breakfast. I would have given a lover rating for service had it not been for the polite and helpful desk staff.

Not good

Posted 02-Jul-2016 on Hotels
Hotel location was ok, but loud music and voices could be heard. Elevator was very small and cramped. Hallways leading to rooms was very narrow with no lighting. Bathrooms were in very bad design and shape. Would not recommend to families with kids.
