Great hotel

Posted 26-Jan-2016
We came for my wife's 30th birthday, stayed in one of the studio de artiste rooms. It was a good size and done to a really high quality. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was very clean. They are opening a spa soon, so that will add a nice touch. The hotel has a roof top bar/restaurant with a great view of the Effiel tower. Drinks are a little pricy but you get the view

Great view of Paris

Posted 04-Jan-2016
Well located hotel, within a short walk of great cafes, restaurants and the Metro (Abbesses). Very helpful and friendly staff, quirky design but good sized room with comfortable bed and great shower, but even better, fabulous rooftop terrace bar with panoramic view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.

Nice hotel close to Moulin Rouge.

Posted 02-Jan-2016
Pros: Decor, staff, view over Paris skyline.
We stayed for 2 nights over new year and we had a lovely time in Paris. We really liked our hotel, thought the decor looked lovely. The staff were nice and the rooms were kept well. The Terrass bar/restaurant has views over Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Moulin Rouge is just a 5 minute walk and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars all within a 5 minute walk. Good transport links make the whole of Paris easily accessible. If you do fancy a walk it is about an hour to the Eiffel Tower and a little less to the Champs Elysee.

my home base in Paris

Posted 27-Dec-2015
I have stayed at The Terrass Hotel many times. I am pleasantly surprised to find the new remodel and floor plan to be very likable. It is relaxed and modern and cheerful, and much attention has been given to detail in both the lobby and the new restaurant with its sweeping views of all Paris. My room was also fun, with a very well appointed bathroom. It feels well thought out, lighting and overall design all well done. It is a super building in an exciting corner of Montmartre: metro Clichy or Abbesses are just short interesting walks from 'Terrass'. Just across the street the #95 bus goes directly to the flea market one way and the Louvre and St. Germain de Pres the other way. It is also a fun area to just walk around and enjoy the character of the neighborhood, including Sacre Coeur Cathedral, Place Clichy, and the Montmartre Cemetery, which is overlooked by the hotel. I guess all of Paris is full of surprises. The staff is open and helpful at the reception and room service, and Terrass has a great breakfast crew. It is French of course, and yet I feel comfortable here, and have made this place my home base when in Paris. I will return again if I get the chance.

Brilliant boutique hotel in excellent position

Posted 14-Dec-2015
Pros: The staff, very clean and just a warm welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast to set you up for the day.
Cons: Bed was just a little hard.
Location: Close to Sacre Couer metro only 5 mins away. This is cheap to use and very easy to use. Lots of small restaurants with a full range of food and drinks
You are met with a warm welcome by the staff who were always very helpful. We only had a basic room but it was very comfortable with soft pillows and a lovely bathroom . The soaps, shampoo and body lotions provided were lovely. Breakfast choice was brilliant with the most spectacular view across Paris to the Eiffel Tower. There are lots of brilliant cafes in Montmarte so a good area to unwind in at the end of the day. Plus you are really close to the Sacre Couer - do go up the dome just amazing views.

Away for a couple of days to chillax

Posted 09-Dec-2015
Pros: Location Staff and style.
Cons: Nothing taht springs to mind. The standard was very high.
Location: The Church is at the top well worth visiting visited plus all the usual sites Eiffel tower etc.. Also you must try the Metro it was easy to get around
Went to Paris for a couple of days with friends. The Hotel was very retro and funky the leather furniture in the bedroom was out there. The Staff were warm friendly and very courteous and were very professional in their approach to ensuring that our needs were fully met. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again one day. Only negative was that we were unable to get the fancy coffee Machine to work one morning. Other than that it was fault less.
