Nice hotel near the Eiffel Tower

Posted 02-Sep-2015
The hotel was located 2 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. The breakfast was great and had a variety of food to choose from. The room was very comfortable and the view was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely will come back to this hotel.

Great Location But Overpriced

Posted 02-Sep-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Check in.....and the addition of a front desk.
Location: Eiffel Tower
Check in is a free for all with a very odd system. No front desk perse just a large table in the lobby and people had no idea who was next in line. Check in is 2:00 got my room at 5. Toilet did not flush properly and elevator broke down. This is a 3 Star at most and priced like a 5 star plus.

Rough start but a great hotel!

Posted 01-Sep-2015
Pros: The location was perfect. The view was amazing.
Cons: The check in process was too long and confusing. They took passports away and made copies in another location which took too much time.
Location: Just a few blocks from the metro, dinning and the Eiffel Tower.
The check in process was not fun. The lobby was packed with a tour group, it was hard to even know where to go - they have 2 desks. We arrived early and the room wasn't ready so we went out for a few hours and returned when they told us to. Once we finally got into the room we assumed the power didn't work because none of the lights would come on. After two calls to the front desk, they finally mentioned you have to insert your card into the slot near the door. The first room we went to, the bed had to of been broken. It made awful noises when you sat on it. After talking to the front desk again they said they would send someone up - 30 minutes later we finally went down and then maintenance came up. Then we waiting another 30 minutes for someone to come up with new room keys and help move the luggage. The next room we went to was already occupied. So we waited another 10 minutes for a new room. The staff was very nice about the whole situation. They even wrote an apology note and left a little gift for us. I do think the issue was because of the big group. Other than the check in process, the hotel was wonderful. Great location. Great food. The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone. Ask for room 337 - it's a garden view but you can see the Eiffel Tower!

Great hotel in a fabulous location. Lovely modern air conditioned rooms and nice friendly staff. Compared to some Paris accommodation this place is a dream!

Great base

Excellent hotel, only downside was the inattentive bar staff, however this may have just been a Parisian thing as it was the same in every bar and restaurant we went in.

Great location to Metro and Tour Eiffel

Posted 30-Aug-2015
My friend wanted to spend her 50th birthday at dinner on the Eiffel Tour. So I looked for a nice hotel nearby. Highly recommend including the breakfast. Staff there were awesome. Bottled water and wifi were included. Room service was available but limited. I chose a view room. Glad I did. Nice to see the Tower's light show. Not a lot of restaurant choices in the nearby blocks and there's a lot of 3 card monte-type hustlers around the Tower. But I'd stay here again if I wanted to be near the Tower and the RER C line is a block away. And the Metro Green line is 2 blocks. So most of Paris is $1.80 and less than 30 minutes.

3 Nights in Paris

Posted 28-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, view, cleanliness, polite, friendly staff
Cons: Replace the cracked balcony panel, possibly add some seating on the balcony (benches or fold down seats?), fix the BBC channels on the TV
Location: Next to the Eiffel Tower, street market stalls and lots of restaurants, bus & river tours only a short walk away as was the Metro underground stations
This hotel was ideally situated for visiting the Eiffel Tower, being no more than a 5 minute walk away. The check in was quick and efficiently carried out by a pleasant man, who spoke English very well. Our room was clean, well prepared and surprisingly quite large. We had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony, which unfortunately had a cracked panel at the end, but that didn't stop us from standing out there to look out at the views of Paris. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and although others complained that it was expensive, we felt the price was well justified. For 26 euros we had the American breakfast, which consisted of the continental breakfast (croissants, bread, fruit, preserves etc) as well as cooked breakfast items such as sausages, bacon, eggs and mushrooms. Knowing that neither of us are particularly big breakfast eaters, we only ordered 1 breakfast between us and couldn't finish it all. The quality of the food was to a high standard too. Being in a busy area of Paris we expected some noise, but once the balcony door was closed you couldn't hear any outside noises at all. The room was completely soundproof! Check out was quick and easy as well. The staff were all polite and friendly, willing to answers questions as needed.
