Great hotel especially if you love the Marais and great shopping / cafe /resto area around. In my opinion the best area in Paris. Only small drawback there’s no lift /elevator so someone with mobility issues thus could be tough. It’s a small staircase especially if you’re on the top floors. (6 is top floor). Other then that would reco.

Bed bugs - terrible stay. No lift our room was on the 6th floor - no aircondition, water pot not working , plug was cut . Bathroom was ok - overall it is really terrible . I forgot my neck pillow but they did not return to think we left our suitcases hours after we checked out . They could have returned . This hotel. We reported the bugs they said they checked and there was none as they said - water pot not addressed.

Reception tried to give me a smaller room
Very old hotel with small room. The reception try to give me a smaller room than the one I booked which the room is basically just the bed. Have to put luggage in the bed.

You like walking up stairs, this is your place
It was comfortable but the hotel (7 stories) had no elevator which made it difficult climbing 7 flights of stairs after a long day of walking. I had an accident of not reaching the bathroom in time. After that incident I requested to be moved to a lower level for the remainder of my stay which was accommodated.

Unfortunately I book a hotel room with a bathroom. What I really got was a hallway with a horrible set up in a bed on the end. I honestly felt I was getting a homeless free room . I understand I didn’t pay a lot, but that place it’s not a hotel . The people working there was nice and friendly, the room “ or wherever you call a room was clean. But if you can pay 30-50 dollars more… do it for a different place .

April 2022 delightful stay
This is a lovely, small, well-managed hotel in the Marais area. The room was small, but well laid out, nicely decorated, with an up-to-date bathroom. The staff were very gracious and helpful. The location was superb; an easy walking distance to many attractions and the Metro. I would stay there again.

Lovely staff. Amazing location In 4th. Tiny but modern clean room. Very high up with lots of windy narrow stairs. Good job I had not very much luggage! Perfect for needs. Expensive for what you get but I guess you pay for the location.

Everything perfect. Only at check out was at 4 am and after we gave the key the front desk perso. Make us to wait for our driver outside and he just close the door just because he has to comeback to sleep

DO NOT STAY HERE. Terrible hotel, terrible customer service. The room consisted of a short hallway in which there was toilet, shower, and sink. The actual room was the size of a double bed. Literally no room for a single suitcase to open flat on the floor, let alone two suitcases as we had between us. The power outlets by the bed didn’t work, which meant we couldn’t charge our phones and couldn’t plug in the fan they gave us since it was so hot during our stay. We asked for a refund as we didn’t even stay for a single night but the hotel refused citing its no-refund policy. The following morning we asked to come back, figuring we would suffer through the heat and inconvenience, but the hotel wouldn’t allow us to return even though paid for the week. We ended up losing more than $1200.

Very cute hotel!y room was small, but clean and comfortable. The area is great for walking and very close to St. Paul metro stop. Staff was friendly and spoke English. They also let me store my bags for the day so I could go sightseeing.

Our favourite thing about this hotel was the location! Le Marais is a lovely area and the hotel is very close to a metro station. The price was great too. Paris is super expensive! It was a bit of a pain getting our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs (we were assigned to a room on the top floor) but we knew there was no elevator before booking, so we can’t complain. It was good exercise! We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. After reading reviews, we were expecting the room to be tiny but it was fine for us. The bathroom was a bit cramped but manageable. The front desk staff were very nice and didn’t laugh at my attempts to speak French. The hotel is pretty basic, but that’s all we really needed. Overall we were happy with our choice.

A Hidden Gem
Pratic Hotel is located in the Les Marias, 4th Arrondissement, Paris. Close to restaurants, bars, shops, and transportation, this hotel is in an ideal location if you're visiting Paris. The staff from check-in to check-out was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The room was small, per American standards, but it was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and manageable. I used it only to sleep, so the size was fine for me.

Very clean and easy to come and go, didn’t have to worry about your key. I did hear people coming and going so the walls are a little thin but didn’t hinder my wonderful experience. The location is really great too for the metro, shopping, food.

Great Marais spot for inexpensive price
I traveled to Paris on a solo trip and was looking for a place that wouldn't be too expensive, but still in a great location. If you are a fan of the Marais, Pratic Hotel is a great option. It's located just a few minutes walk from the St. Paul metro stop on a quiet street, with plenty of restaurants and cafes right outside the front door. The staff was friendly and kind - I stayed seven nights so they definitely got to know me! There isn't an elevator so if stairs are an issue for you, this may not be an ideal place to stay, especially if - like me - you stay on the top floor - about 100 steps to the top! The steps didn't bother me - and since I was there mostly just to sleep, it was a great place. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to crash after long days out in the city.
