Loved the location. Easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. Historical sites are close. Breakfast is delicious with a wide range of food options; breakfast staff is friendly, helpful and courteous.

Rive Gauche Marriott
I had stayed here once before with a tour group. We found a good price and decided to stay again. My wife got very ill with a virus(?) while eating at a nearby restaurant. One of the servers helped us back to the hotel and from there the staff at the hotel was amazing. They had a paramedic check on us, along with staff. Then called a doctor to come check her out. He came at a little after midnight and gave her some meds and prescription. This was absolutely above and beyond. They have won us over forever.

I have over charges on my credit card. Paul at the reception desk (on 12/14/19, 8:30am) pretended that he adjusted the charges off my final invoice and then asked me "do you want the adjusted invoice emailed to you?" To which I said yes. I still have NOT received a copy of the final invoice. I now have an additional charge for $115.78 on my credit card. It's a terrible shame and a reflection on a reputable company like Marriott to have such a dishonest employee. I'm hoping that I'm not wasting my time here and someone will assist me in resolving this issue.

The property is within walking distance to Supermarket, Post, and some restaurants. It is within a 15 minute ride to other tourist attractions, Louve, Galleries Lafayette, etc. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. The staff at the hotel makes it exceptional. The airline lost my luggage for two days and members of the concierge desk, namely Morgan, Adrien and Aizmee tracked the movement of my luggage, and kept me updated on its movement and eventual recovery. This was particularly useful since my stay was a short one. They were reassuring and helpful and the front desk staff was in general pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend Paris Rive Gauche as a great hotel for both long and short-term stays and indeed I plan to revisit in the future. One small improvement that I would suggest however is to provide two bottles of water in the room on check in. It's a small gesture that goes a long way.

The bathbrub was too high. The toilet room had a strange noise within the walls that was light. I had to keep the door closed. The floor i was on this time smelled bad. The carpet was dirty in the common arra.. this was on flr 14.

Really nice hotel. Very close to the Metro Train. Decent breakfast selection and wished they changed their menu optons. Same breakfast daily. Loved the make your own omelette section. Clean and large rooms. Great view from the top floors. Overall nice hotel but they're other closer to the tourist sites.

Confortable hotel
It is a good place to stay, close to a train station, perfect if you are looking for a confortable hotel at good price and you can go anywere easely by train that is affordable. I had been before here, this time We needed to ask the service to bring thigs, that were supouse to be replace automatically, like tissues and body cream, the answer was incredible fast. Anyway next time in Paris will come back to this hotel.

Very close to metro and direct transportation to CDG (RER) and ORY (bus) airports. Sixt car rental is downstairs and has convenient hours. Taxi station in front always has cars waiting. Supermarket and dry cleaners around corner. Decently sized bathroom looks clean. Expect minor grumbling from traveling partner about room size upon entry but won't notice it again. (Other hotels room size may require more grumbling.) Refrigerator won't fit more than 1 750ml bottle. Mattress and bedding as expected from Marriott brand (good). Fitness facility is minimal.

The property was spacious but the room had a really bad smell as if it was a smoking room, since we had two kids checked in with us and it was a family suite they staff should have given us a none smoking room as we requested. The staff in reception didn’t mention the things in the mini bar are free of charge or the complimentary breakfast.

After a bad check-in (room wasn't ready, then they gave me a room that was already occupied), the rest of our stay was good. Nice big room (junior suite) that worked perfect for putting our 3 yr old to bed early, while still having our separate area. Just a few blocks to multiple subway lines, make this a good place to stay. Friendly staff too.

Amazing!
Amazingly helpful staff! And people told me that's never the case in the country, but I found the complete opposite. Whatever I needed help with the staff helped and that too promptly. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was great! Room was out of this world. Would stay here again. Just wish the price wasn't as high, but it's the quality that you pay for.
