De l'autre côté de la rue, un chantier de construction démarrait à 6 heures du matin. Cela rendait le sommeil paisible un peu plus difficile. Il faut également tenir compte de l'intensification de la circulation et des transports publics, qui créent une pollution sonore supplémentaire. Le personnel est cependant très aimable et serviable.

This hotel was close to the station which was very handy. It also makes it feel like a very unsafe area for women travelling alone. Getting the room. Leaned was a challenge and the breakfast area feels grimy and smelly at best. Not great.

The bathroom is horrible. Mold on the wall, white towels are yellowish color, the hallway had very strong smoking odor. And bed buds too. The ceiling was taped up and broken. Definitely not coming back.

The property is close and convenient to public transportation and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The staff at the hotel are nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and it is worth the price. However the property needs a thorough cleaning. The room was ok but the bathroom was horrendous. It was full of mold. There was mold all on the ceiling and in the shower. I felt cleaner before I took a shower. I will not stay at this property again based strictly on the cleanliness.

Location is great if you're taking the Eurostar train. American restaurants are a block away if cafes are pricey for you. It's an old building so didn't expect much. There's mildew in the bathroom ceiling. Elevator is really small so travel light.

Close to station but be wary of luggage storage
Location was close to Gare du Nord. We checked when checking in that they store luggage but when we checked out they said there was no room left for luggage! We had a whole day in Paris planned and chose this place because it is close to the station and stored luggage. They eventually did take it but I lost any reliance on them at that point. Breakfast was decent and the underground breakfast room interesting. Also had to take all our luggage upstairs because the lift didn’t go to level 1.

The location to the train station and dining were convenient and the beds comfortable, However the pillowcases had stains, and there was visible mold in the bathroom on the tiles in many places, Also the control for the heat/ ac was missing.

This hotel has its pros and cons, however, for the price we payed we can say we had an enjoyable stay. The entire staff was very kind to us, we always had clean towels and toiletries. You can get better breakfast outside for the same price but nevertheless the breakfast at the hotel was very enjoyable as well. It can be a bit noisy outside due to the train station but we didn’t mind it, but it can disrupt anyone’s sleep if you struggle with noise. Plenty of places to eat, convenience stores and currency exchange. I’d recommend this hotel as long as you’re using this hotel to sleep and shower, since it can be somewhat small.

Very nice small holder hotel I had double bed on 5 th floor window that open with view of La Gare du Nord nice shower. The week end petit déjeuner was very good in a cave like area like in a Cassel I definitely would stay there again great location good price

The room was nice & clean. The bed was confortable & it was near a few restaurant so there was a choice. The bathroom was clean & tidy. The hotel was near the train station so very handy in the morning to catch the Eurostar.

Good location with metro station right outside. Lots of cafes and eateries in the area. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful but room was a bit disappointing. One bed was broken and we woke up to find ants on some food we had bought. Bathroom ok but door and door frame were rotten due to moisture caused by not having a shower door or curtain. Room was cleaned and beds were made each day, which was good. No facilities to make a drink either.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s just across Gare du Nord. Other than that nothing positive to say about it. Personally I think Gare dubLyon location is better than this location as a whole. Staff were rude ,except one guy, and inefficient. We had two books booked but when we went there it took more than 20 minutes to find our booking and then we were divided up in two hotels, according to the receptionist Hotel Richmond is the same , they own it. Not that they are far away virtually next door but just not what we envisioned. Room was terrible, small and then half was really low as it seemed to be an attic. Only one pillow per person, not highly comfortable. And then on weekends it’s noisy, maybe that was more because of the rugby WC going on.

Long weekend
We stayed in the new gare de nord for 4 nights. Situated just off the main road right opposite the station. This is a great spot for the eurostar, metro and other trains. A busy, bustling area with lots of restaurants and bars. I went to the prix de l'arc race meeting on the sunday and it was easy to get to from the station. The hotel itself is clean and run well. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The lift is small but has enough space for 4 people. Breakfast is in the basement. Very quirky, it looks like a cave!! The lady overseeing breakfast is lovely and keeps everything topped up. Breakfast is adequate for a short stay. The room itself is very clean and comfortable. Theres a tv. Safe. And hairdryer in the bathroom. We had a big balcony which was right opposite the train station.great to watch the goings on! The bathroom is clean with a lovely hot shower. Lovely hotel. Next time i go to paris i will definitely stop at this hotel

Room was very very small. Soap/shampoo dispenser was empty. The lift won’t fit 2 persons with normal size cabin bags. No separate shower on the washroom, so when someone take a shower, water will flow out of the washroom to bedroom The location is good, just opposite to main train station

It started when i arrived and there was blood all over the staircase from someone who had shot up. My bathroom was awful. The shower grout was moldy. The shower head clip was broken. The shower door didnt close properly. The room did not look like the photos. The front desk would not allow my guest tp come to my room for a few minutes.

Average stay
Mould on the floors and in the bathroom of our hotel room (room 205). Photos attached. The hotel stairs are terrible if you have mobility issues. During our stay, one guest fell down and lacerated his face on our last night. The blood and bloody towels were still there in the main hallway at 9am - when the incident had happened at 10pm! We told reception and they didn’t even know about it. Walls are not sound proof- could hear neighbours having intercourse and others coming in and out, banging their door shut at early hours. We had a terrible sleep. Would not return. The only convenient thing is the location and proximity to Gare Du Nord.

the room was small but just opposite gare du nord which made it easy to catch my train in the morning. The shower in my room was blocked up and water went everywhere but they changed my room immediately. Very good staff. I will stay there again.

It was convenient to Gare du Nord, but by being so close, there were quite a few sketchy people loitering around. Plenty of restaurants nearby and next to Metro and one of the main train stations.

Elevator wasn’t working ! Had to carry luggage from 3rd floor staff did not even offer to help . The areas is unsafe , I wouldn’t recommend when travelling with kids. Parking was a nightmare to find
