Week end a Parigi

Posted 14-Oct-2016

The only problem is you cannot make tea or coffee in room , should have scruple of free drinking water in room as well, television should facing to the bed , not by the side!

Great Hotel, Excellent Location

Posted 30-Aug-2016
Pros: Location is just brilliant - great and quiet part of the Haussmann Boulevard, just across the banks' buildings.
Location: Reasonable stroll to the main sights, shopping and restaurant.
Me and my Mom have stayed in this hotel for 10 days, and we absolutely loved it. I couldn't but compared the location to the nearby streets, and in my opinion, this hotel was just in a perfect spot. I liked the breakfast in the hotel's Brasserie - both the atmosphere and the quality and generous choices of food. Hotel's bar is quite nice, and the vast lobby lounge styled as a library hall is quite inviting and makes you feel very comfortable. Room was very clean with a daily housekeeping and all amenities needed. It was very hot in Paris for 3 or 4 days, and we were pleased to come back to the cooled air conditioned room - very thoughtful of housekeepers. Staff on reception was polite and helpful. We have no complaints. Thank you very much.

Great location. Good price and although "vintage" it had charm and a fun Parisean vibe. Lovely lobby area as well.

Cons:

Three rather than four stars; excellent location

Posted 24-Jul-2016 on Hotels
Emphasis on 'old' in 'old world charm' best describes this establishment. Could have been so much more charming if old and worn bits are updated. Service quality at breakfast and reception is patchy with some hit and miss. Excellent location and double glazed windows are notable pluses.
