This is a little gem of a hotel! There’s no grand entrance, but filled with charm once inside. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed was wonderful with luxurious linens. The bathroom was a good size, with nice towels and amenities. The only thing I would change is the black shower head - it was a weird weak spray and difficult to get the shampoo out of my hair. Other than that everything was perfect!

once we decided which area of Paris we wanted to stay in, we went online and picked a hotel with a 4 or 5 star rating. We chose the Le Relais Madeleine. It was a blind choice, but we really picked a winner. The staff - every one- over our 10 day staw were FANTASTIC!! Our room was quiet, clean adequate size and well updated. We definitely will stay here again when we go to Paris in the future.

Paris with friends!
The staff were exceptional —very friendly, helped us with many of our travel plans of the city. The hotel was conveniently located. Easy to get to the metro. Nice restaurants in close proximity. The food at breakfast was very good. would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant property with reasonably large rooms good location, froendly staff and comfortable bed. . My only real complaint was the shower which was small fir a bigger guy amd had a half-glass panel that makes potent floor flooding possible. It is a mist spray shower which takes some getting used to. It would also be nice to have complimentary bottled water in the room, especially at check in. We didnt donthe breakfast which looked fairky standard for $20. We preferred to try the myriad local cafes.

Le Relais Madeleine is in a fantastic location, easy to walk to Opera, Place de la Concorde, metro's, buses, main shopping streets and restaurants. The room was small but very clean, comfortable and stylish. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included lots of fresh options the only downside was the breakfast room was in the basement - so it felt a bit dark and cramped, however the rest of the hotel was perfect and typically Parisian. Top marks for the location and front of house staff.

Good service; convenient location.
This was my ideal hotel: convenient, clean and comfortable, but also unpretentious with good service. One of the concierges was very helpful when I discovered I had come to Paris from London without the right adapter. Another one commiserated when I recounted how I had been ripped off by a cabbie upon arrival at the Gare du Nord. This hotel helped me stay in a good mood when the strikers and train delays conspired to sabotage my two day visit to Paris. I will return for a longer stay.

Our lift is certified every year by a company and secure.We provide water bottle (3.50 per bottle).Best regards

Great place, at great value in central Paris
Receptionist absolutely excellent and charming, service impeccable. Breakfast which was included as very good. Room spacious for central Paris standard and clean. The only small improvement could be to descale the shower head otherwise water goes everywhere in the bathroom!

Excellent Service and Location
Yasmin is an exceptional front desk attendant and her fellow worker Sabrina is very attentive too. They helped me check in early, helped with luggage, open doors, prepared a coffee, had a very pleasant smile and personality. They make this hotel shine by its quality of service. Great location close to La Madeleine.

Short solo trip to Paris
Absolutely amazing gem of a hotel in paris. Perfect location, a stones throw from the grande boulevards. Lots of places to eat and drink in the vicinity. Room was very comfortable & quiet. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

Pleasant hotel in nice neighborhood
pleasant and very well maintained hotel in very good location, friendly staff - twin room only with small single beds and facing street - In generally quiet street but during our stay next door construction noise from 07:30 / during evening voices from outside customers of next door restaurants (both cannot be faulted to hotel)

The staff was very nice but the facility was not what I expected for a 4-star hotel. In particular the bathroom/shower head were moldy because there was no ventilation.

A quiet, attractive hotel with comfortable beds and a very good breakfast. The only problem on the night I stayed was a malfunctioning elevator.

Elevator down for several days - no information
The elevator in the property was undergoing replacement/long term repair and this was not informed to us when we booked or anytime between booking and checking-in. We were told at 11pm when checking-in. When asked if we could have a lower floor, the request was declined and we were assigned a room on the 4th floor. The person checking us in said he was a temp and I should speak to the management in the morning. He offered to help carry any "one" of our three bags to the room. We were left to carry 2 bags up 4 floors. The next morning, when I brought it up with the front desk, they flatly refused to compensate us in any way other than to help with all our bags upon check-out. They said they had put this information up on hotels.com 2 months prior to our check-in. This was obviously much after we had booked the hotel. Other than the lack of pro-active communication, they didn't mention it to me when I called them a couple of days prior to our arrival to let them know we'd be arriving late. Including breakfast or at least a bottle of wine would have gone a long way to show empathy for the situation. I've stayed at the hotel in the past, but this will definitely be our last visit here. We felt cheated as they withheld information about the elevator and refused to take responsibility for it.
