Hotel St. Honore - FABULOUS!

Posted 02-Dec-2016
Pros: All mentioned above
Cons: The bathrooms could be a bit bigger; that said, mine was sufficiently large to make it a nice stay.
Location: All mentioned above
The Hotel St. Honore is an absolute delight!. Clean, quiet, and most of all, a very, very friendly staff. It's only a ten minute walk from the Chatelet-les Halles train station, with both Metro and RER service. From Charles de Gaulle airport, it's a simple and direct ride to Chatelet-let Halles station via RER line B (about 40 minutes). Breakfast at the St. Honore is well worth the 14E cost -- a nice self-service continental buffet with plenty of the freshest fruits, cafe, and croissants to die for! Another great thing is the location-from the hotel, you can get pretty much anywhere in Paris by Metro or RER in twenty minutes or less (for me, it was almost exactly 20 minutes to the Champs Elysees. BEST risk I ever took staying here having only read web reviews. Bon voyage!

Ideally situated in central Paris.

Pros: Friendly staff. Fridge in room with tea and coffee making facilities
Cons: More than 1 tea bag provided.
Location: Lots of cafes, bars, and the most fantastic patisseries....nearby!! The Louvre, Pompidou centre, Les Halles all within walking distance.
Within walking distance of the Louvre, shops, cafes galore. In fact a fantastic position. Reasonable taxi ride to major stations.

Room was small but adequate. Very clean, as was the whole hotel. Good supply of hot water, towels etc. Located five minutes walk from Louvre, also walking distance to Notre Dame, Muse D'Orsay. the metro, buses. Staff very helpful re directing us to transport, and things in general. Didn't buy the breakfast, thought it was bit expensive but hotel near shops and bakeries. Would recommend it

Comfortable, great location, small room

Hotel is in a great location very close to the Louvre, Metro and restaurants. Rooms are small but comfortable. WiFi didn't work in room but did at reception. Aircon was quite and badly needed as temps were in the 30's

Kleines Hotel in einer tollen Umgebung

Posted 29-Aug-2016 on Hotels

Good place to stay if you want more to see

Good location. Close to the metro which is called Les Halles. It was so easy to travel in Paris and to the airports. If you are a museum-holic, buy museum pass and visit Louvre, where you can go in about 5min. by walking, everytime you want to go. Especially on Wed and Fri it is open until 9:30. I really could feel staying in the center of the city. I enjoyed walking along the river Seine after sunset. The view was so wonderful when the light was on. Even the veiw from the hotel wasn't wonderful it was ok with me. No time to look outside just staying in the hotel. There are several cafe and restaurants near here. The staffs were kind and friendly. Room was small but it was not so bad you could feel the price is reasonable.

Rooms are very small, which is expected in Europe. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would skip the breakfast in the morning. I went to the buffet one morning an hour before service was supposed to end and all I got was toast; and it's wildly expensive for nothing. The serving chafer in the pictures was empty and had never had any food in it. Not sure why it's there. Very nice front desk staff.
