The hotel is perfect for a short stay. I cannot fault the cleanliness and availability of AC. The welcome, was not friendly. It was a condescending “I know it all and you’re the stupid tourist” approach with the welcome front person.

The building was in okay condition, a little run down, which I don’t mind as long as it’s clean. We checked in around 11:30pm to find blood stains under our sheet covers, toilet uncleaned with hairs and dusts on it (which I had to clean myself) and used dirty towels with makeup stains hanging on the bathroom door. This is appalling for a 3 star hotel as I’ve been to 1 star in much better conditions.

Pleasant, but not as good as it likes to think
This has obviously been a lovely hotel, decorated with a lot of care. It's now getting a bit tatty and could do with some upkeep. Expensive but, if you have time and the appetite to fill up, very good buffet continental breakfast - cereals, patisserie, dairy and cold meat, etc - although for the price I'd have expected some more in the way of fruit etc. The area is great - lovely to wander around, great parks, shops and restaurants - getting gentrified now but a good sense of real Paris. Good wifi in the rooms, altho' Netflix didn't work on the TV. Service is perhaps stereotypically Parisian. I booked a Rostand room (with kitchenette); we were put in a cheaper room without one and when I pointed this out was told, a bit snippily and after much checking of records, that they had indeed made a mistake and if they'd known a few hours earlier they could have moved us that night, but as it was we'd have to wait till the next day. Fair enough, but no apology at any time and an underlying sense of irritation at having to go to the trouble. A different member of staff on the desk at check-out knocked the price of a breakfast off our bill, which was nice, but I'd have felt better about the stay if we'd been offered this at the point where we'd reported the error.

Arthur the evening receptionist was welcoming, personable, professional and made me feel at ease with what little French I understand. The room was clean, neat, and comfortable. There is no A/C but there was a Dyson fan. Great for a comfortable and clean place to stay!

Superb
Lovely hotel in a great area which felt very safe. Short 10 min stroll passed lovely shops to Villiers Metro. 24 hour front desk with friendly, welcoming staff and a verrrry comfy bed.

Clean and quiet hotel
This hotel is impeccable, recently renovated. Beds were comfortable and the hotel is tucked away near a tiny street, which makes it pretty quiet. A great stay overall. Easy reach to opera by subway.

Nice but noisy
The hotel and staff were very nice. Our room was plenty big enough and comfortable, having opted for the 'superior'. However, our stay was marred by the almost constant noise from outside - roudy people, busy traffic and daily early morning refuse collections. I appreciate that Paris is a busy city but I've visited 3 times previously, staying at different hotels each time, and never noticed so much noise at night.

Lovely people, nice area.
We chose this boutique hotel on a return trip from Lyon so we'd be closer to the airport the next morning. The people at the front desk were super friendly and there around the clock. They set us up with a shuttle to the airport the next morning. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the place was not what I would call luxurious, but we loved the area around the hotel. We ate at an Indian restaurant across the street and walked to a fabulous park down by the Metro.

Very nice staff, but the room I was in was clearly old and in desperate need of refurbishing. The location was a plus - not touristy and within walking distance of the metro. Stay here if you are budget oriented, but if you want an upscale experience pick something else.

Sehr gemütlich und gut gelegen. Aber keine Klima
Das Hotel ist schön und urig und gemütlich und romantisch. Es hat einen tollen Flair und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und fruendlich. Was fehlt ist eine Klimaanlage, sodass das Schlafen bei 37 Grad (nachts immer noch über 30) fast unmöglich war. Die Lage ist gut aber draußen am Wochenende ist es ziemlich laut durch Junge Leute und Fahrzeuge. Das Frühstück ist klein aber mega gemütlich unten im "Weinkeller" und hat eins chönes Ambiente. Wir leben vegan und da bietet es wirklich sehr wenig. Man hatte aber für uns extra Pflanzenmilch besorgt :-)

Pros: the Batignolles neighbourhood; the restaurants and bistrots; the great conciergerie and level of cleaness; the romantic feelings of the rooms; 24/7 front desk service. Cons: no air conditioning, but a simple fan; poor welcoming and courtesy bathroom set; no bath robes nor slippers; our room was a little too small; check in no earlier than 2pm; overall a tiny bit pricey for what concerns breakfast and commodities. Extra con, which the hotel is not directly responsible for: we used the airport taxi service from their site and it lacked the welcoming pack with water bottles, maps and snacks as written on the site and that we paid for). In conclusion, a nice three star hotel that does its job.

Lits propres ainsi que la salle de bain et les lieux. Peut-être mal placé au niveau de la rue mais une fois repéré, la façade tous en fleurs nous paraît impossible à louper. La nuit il n'y a presque pas de passage, donc pas de bruit dérangeant. La chambre est spacieuse pour Paris. L'idée de la télé accrochée à un mur contre la salle de bain et non une chambre est bien vue. Et l'ascenseur fonctionne, ce qui me paraît peu courant dans Paris.
